What It Is

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment is a pre-shampoo and step #1 of a full haircare system that answers to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This pre-shampoo is step #1 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blondes light and brightens up hair instantly when using the entire Blondage High Bright regimen.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment treats hair with chelating agents to prep and clarify before shampooing. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. This pre-treatment or pre-shampoo is for blondes looking to brighten and lighten hair. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neutralize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Subtle change I have long blonde hair and I notice a subtle brightness after using it almost a handful of times. It's a bit watery and sprays just a little bit of product every time, so it's hard to tell where I already applied the product and if I used enough. My hair feels soft and it was easy to comb through. My scalp can be sensitive but I didn't experience a reaction from this product, so I'm happy with it!

After spraying on my damp hair before I hop in the shower or am soaking in the tub just it sits there for 5-10 minutes and I think this is when the real stuff happens. It is brighter on my natural blonde hair when the sunshines on it and is so far so good. I will keep seeing what happens. Liking it so far. Thank you @influenster and @redken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pre treatment I used this before I started the shampoo…l sprayed all around starting from my roots on damp hair : Left it in for about 10 minutes - did not rinse it out and went right to the shampoo. It seems like a lot with having to wait, but I feel that it makes a difference- my blonde highlights seem more fresh and bright then when I use normal shampoos and conditioners.

The texture of this product is amazing and somewhat like a serum that you can spray! When I applied it to my massive amount of hair it absorbed like magic! My hair was left hydrated and silky!

I’ve also noticed that my hair is softer. I would recommend trying this system. I was sent this product thru the Influenster campaign program.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Application is awkward TLDR: Too much work for little results. I found the spray treatment application to be a weird process. It was really random when spraying in and honestly ended up all over the bathroom, I found it easier to spray into my hands and work into hair in layers. Before I applied it I used a spray bottle with water to “dampen” my hair all over. Left it in for 10 minutes then applied blondage high bright shampoo. Then the conditioner. Unfortunately I don’t see much of a difference. Maybe it would better in a level 10 blonde? I am probably a 9. I would like to see this product packaged in a tub so you could scoop large amounts and apply all over more evenly. It’s almost like a gel consistency. I get better results from using cheap purple toning shampoo. I will attempt this again probably once more.

I applied about 10 sprays in shower on my damp hair and let sit for 5-10 minutes. Now, I have no idea if that was the correct amount of product as it doesn’t specify on the bottle. I wish it told me as I’m not sure if a little goes a long way or if I need more product to get my hair coated. The texture is light and more watery so I truly couldn’t gage how much fo use. I loved my hairs end result after using the pre treatment, shampoo and conditioner. So I guess I liked this too?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not a fan.. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE DIRECTIONS. I thought this was a leave in, it’s a pre treatment! Once I used it the right way.. I wasn’t a fan of the spray it shoots straight out instead of misting and I ended up just pouring some into my hand in the shower it was just not convenient to use and although I didn’t notice brightness after using this, I did notice smooth silky hair!

I love that, in no time, my hair became a lighter blonde as if it is dead of summer. I also love how soft and silky my hair became.

I just got in the shower got my hair damp sprayed it all over my blonde left for seven mins says 5-10 but I got impatient. The scent is kind of strong but I liked how it felt before shampooing. Do not rinse off put shampoo on lather then rinse. Would recommend to others

About 7 minutes later the dullness was gone and she was back to bright white. Fantastic tool to use! Keeps hair strong and soft. I like that this is in a spray bottle so it's easy to apply. The only question I have it how do you know when you've used the proper amount? I could easily overuse this I think. The spray worked quickly and gave some slip to the hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from smells great and works This product smells so good! Almost like a hot guy smell LOL. The way you use the product was interesting and definitely time consuming. You first wet your hair, spray it in, wait ten minutes, then add the shampoo, then finally rinse. It’s not something you could do if you were in a hurry (this is my reasoning behind the 4 stars). That being said, it did brighten up my hair a little bit, as promised. I will probably use it a again on my next hair wash say to get it a little brighter!

So I’m here telling you why you continue using the same? This is awesome, my hair feels so different, my color it’s brighter than my past me and for sure I’m so happy!
