What Else You Need to Know

QOAT is designed to be used after any color service, including:

• Permanent color

• Demi-permanent color

• Glosses and toners

• Balayage and foiling services

Step 1: Rinse color or lightener from hair, then shampoo and towel dry.

Step 2: Start by applying 1oz (30ml) of QOAT Professional Haircolor Topcoat from root to tip, increasing up to 3oz (90ml) as needed based on client’s length, density, and porosity.

Step 3: Once application is complete, comb through each section using a wide tooth comb to ensure even saturation.

Step 4: Process for 5 minutes at room temperature, then rinse thoroughly (do not shampoo).

Step 5: Towel dry hair, then continue with the cut or styling service as desired.

I am platinum blonde and I usually fade after my first wash. This product made my hair soft and let me tell you, I haven’t had any fading yet. My color is so vibrant and beautiful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure. Highly recommend.

I still had color loss when washing and still had fading just as fast as before. I didn’t expect a miracle product, but I’m definitely disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the results expected. It left several of my client’s hair feeling coated with a strange, stiff, almost plastic-like film. Instead of feeling healthy and conditioned, it felt dryer, more brittle, and had an unnatural negative texture. Even after several types of conditioning treatments they said they couldn’t restore softness, hydration, or remove the coated feeling. They said it made their hair feel so terrible that they were no longer concerned about the small amount of color longevity they couldn’t honestly tell if they experienced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Initially Impressed I was so excited when I heard about this product coming out. So as soon as it was available I bought a bottle and started using it on my clients. They loved the way their hair felt and so did I. I have not tried using it to keep my vivids in, but I have used it on numerous of my blonde clients after toning them. I was disappointed to find out that, with toners at least, the product doesn’t make a difference.
