What It Is

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment is a pre-shampoo and step #1 of a full haircare system that answers to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. What It Does

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment treats hair with chelating agents to prep and clarify before shampooing. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. This pre-treatment or pre-shampoo is for blondes looking to brighten and lighten hair. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to Use Following the instructions, you use this spray on damp hair and then you’re not supposed to rinse before shampooing. Normally with a treatment, I would dampen my hair outside of the shower or after. However, your hair needs to be wet enough to use shampoo without rinsing again, so that’s kind of inconvenient. It also doesn’t spray very well, so I struggle to get good coverage on my hair. I have been using for a couple weeks and don’t see much of a difference in my blonde.

My blonde hair really look better and softer. I use all three products from this line, so I guess they work together. Btw I think my photo will tell more than words.

It's basically like applying a hair mask in that you need to apply it to damp hair and leave on for 5-10 minutes before following with the shampoo. The problem is that unlike a hair mask, the packaging makes this super difficult to apply in the shower. When my hands are wet it's almost impossible to spray it and because my hair is already wet I can't tell if I have even applied it evenly or how much I need to apply. I don't even know if I would bother to use this again, just way too much hassle for no noticeable benefits.

Is it suppose to be used an in between purple shampoo uses? I didn’t not like it, I just don’t find it any more beneficial than their purple shampoo. I don’t think I would buy again as I don’t notice any more of a difference than using my purple shampoo.

I trust redken with all my hair needs and it’s like they answered my prayers because i am always looking for a way to brighten my blonde hair. With the hard water and super dark roots i have i never feel blonde enough. This product line has definitely made a difference. I only wash my hair about once a week so it is hard to tell how this product will work after a few uses but so far so good! I apply this after shampooing and let it sit for a few minutes before i condition.

The product was thick so it was cumbersome to spray. I’d like it better if it came in a pump bottle. Other than that good product!

Before using this my hair was this dull pale white and I honestly hated the way it looked. Since my hair was so damaged from bleaching, there really wasn't must option to fix it until I tried this line. My hair hasn't looked this great in awhile. I highly recommend this to anyone with platinum hair. It's great at dulling the brassy tones in your hair but still giving your hair a bright crisp color. I've been using this for the past few months and will continue and will be repurchasing, as long as my hair is blonde. I do think that the spray does help with brightening your blonde as I did try washing my hair with just the shampoo and conditioner by itself and I didn’t notice any big difference. I would say overall my blonde highlighted hair looked brighter and less brassy hair after use. I subtracted one star only because of the nozzle, it doesn’t give a very big spray so it is kind of tough to distribute through your hair. You maybe could spray it into your hands and then rub it into your hair.

I do notice it dries my hair out a bit (curly hair is so hard to keep from drying out) but the benefits outweigh it. I would recommend this product to any blondes out there. I didn't notice a huge difference with the first use, but after two weeks, there has definitely been an obvious improvement. It's a wonderful scent, although I think some women might find it a bit strong, and it almost smells like a men's product. My hair felt softer and smoother after the first use. I highly recommend this line for brassy areas after lifting your hair.

As someone who bleaches her hair regularly, keeping the brassiness out is important to me. This spray nozzle would have been a bit more broad. I found it difficult to spray evenly, as it came out in a thin, concentrated stream. The scent of the product reminded me of leave in hydrogen peroxide leave in treatments. I normally wash my hair every other day. This pretreatment was slightly irritating to my scalp. Overall, I am satisfied with the pretreatment. It is simple enough to soak the hair before shampooing for the 10 minutes. I have noticed less brassiness after each wash.

It smells so nice - which is an added bonus. I would totally recommend adding this to your daily routine if you have blonde hair!

I can normally go several days between washes, and that was not the case after using this line. I didn't see much difference in my hair, but I am naturally blonde. It may work better on colored hair.

It makes your hair really hard and crunchy and has a really strong odor So you definitely have to make sure to wash it out within 15 minute time frame I suppose it's possibly activated by the shampoo they don't give any detail on this they don't say what it does or the the exact point of it or even what it's supposed to do for that fact They kind of just leave you guessing I did give it 5 out of 5 because overall I like the product As a whole
