Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment is a pre-shampoo and step #1 of a full haircare system that answers to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This pre-shampoo is step #1 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blondes light and brightens up hair instantly when using the entire Blondage High Bright regimen.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment treats hair with chelating agents to prep and clarify before shampooing. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. This pre-treatment or pre-shampoo is for blondes looking to brighten and lighten hair. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neutralize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sprit Sprit away! this product is wonderful this pretreatment is like the previews you see at the movie theaters before a wonderful movie! when I sprayed this product unto my hair 5 to 10 minutes before I took a shower and used the shampoo and conditioner, I was able to notice the wonderful scent it comes with it... like with any other product I was iffy about the results but I was able to see that it worked once I shampoo conditioned and dried my hair. I use it every time I wash my hair and it not only highlighted my blonde but he gave a nice natural look to the grays I'm trying to let grow and create a sophisticated, hip and young look to myself! this is a really good product you should try it

I have platinum blonde hair this product removes some brass, but not all. I’d recommend this for blondes with darker or golden undertones, but not for platinum, white, or ash tones if you’re looking for a big difference.

I felt I couldn’t get a good spray across my hair and it just went on in big clumps. Made my head tingly but I have a sensitive scalp and it was a good tingle. Will use a few more times to see if I can tell a difference

It truly sets off the blond brightness! Directions say to let it set for several minutes, so it took a bit for me to get the hang of remembering the timing process, but it’s worth it!!!

Well it turned out purple shampoo wasn’t what I needed. I then tried this instead and Wow! made my balayage look exactly what I was hoping for!! I spray this pre-treatment all over my hair and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before following up with the high bright shampoo and conditioner. I use the system about once a week to every 2 weeks and my blonde is revived and bright again.

After I used it, the shampoo and the conditioner 3 separate days I still didn’t see a difference in brassiness or texture. My hair still was quite dry and damaged and with a warm tone. My hair was soft, I will give it that at least. I’m hoping with longer use it will get better.

It’s also tricky to time out wetting your hair, putting on the product, then waiting 10-15 min before washing your hair while you sit around with a wet head.
