Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment is a pre-shampoo and step #1 of a full haircare system that answers to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This pre-shampoo is step #1 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blondes light and brightens up hair instantly when using the entire Blondage High Bright regimen.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Pre-Treatment treats hair with chelating agents to prep and clarify before shampooing. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. This pre-treatment or pre-shampoo is for blondes looking to brighten and lighten hair. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neutralize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. Rated 4 out of 5 by from pre treatment I have never used a pre treatment before, but I have to say it seems to work great my blonde looked a lot brighter after I rinsed this and the shampoo out. The bottle is a little difficult to use since the product is thicker. Took off a state bc I feel like they could’ve used a pump rather than nozzle. I just sprayed the product into my hands to make sure i got it all over. Overall I liked this product and was really impressed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible spray nozzle I got this product as a set of three from a voxbox. I was pretty excited at first bc i have bleached blonde hair. The spray is the first step of the three step process. My first impression was that the spray SUCKS. It’s not a spray like a setting spray but more of a spray that just pumps blobs of essence like liquid. I honestly didn’t see a difference but i’ll keep using it see if something happens.

This product, however, seems to be a waste at least to me. I find it disrupting to have to wet my hair, spray and then wait 10 mins before using the soap and condition. It smells great and all but I didn’t notice any difference when I used this or just used the shampoo and conditioner. My hair was shiny and nice but I didn’t notice anything different when using this spray in addition to the shampoo and conditioner. Scrap this.

This pretreatment is step #1 in the High Bright system made with vitamin C, it brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. It keeps blonde hair or highlights light and bright between salon visits, preps and clarifies hair before shampooing, seals the hair's cuticle and fills porous hair and leaves hair soft, silky and conditioned. It also smells so luxurious and rich and the fragrance lasts all day.

It's kind of a spray gel— so I didn't feel like it spread very well without combing—- and leave it on the full 10 minutes if you can… but I feel like this is the key to getting the best brightening effects out of this line. Leaves the hair super soft and feels as though it helps balance the porosity of the hair as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works wonderful i was excited to try this product out after receiving the VOXBOX, as i have used Redken before. i have platinum blonde highlights on dirty blonde hair; i think this product pulled the highlights out wonderfully after roughly 10 minutes of leave-in (as shown in the picture). the texture of the product was not sticky or greasy in my opinion. this definitely got rid of brassy tones before the shampoo/condition process. i am very pleased!

After using the Redken Blondage High Bright collection, and then just the shampoo and conditioner, using this treatment did not make much of a difference. If anything, it made my hair drier than just using the shampoo and conditioner. As for the treatment's packaging, the spray bottle did not seem to be the most efficient. Perhaps simply a larger mist would make using the treatment easier, but it felt almost impossible to get even hair coverage with the current bottle. I liked that it had the same smell as the shampoo and conditioner. It has a nice high-end salon product fragrance, similar to Drybar. Overall, I felt as though it was an unnecessary product that did not bring about any strong results.

I was going to do a bleach bath but picked this up in travel size,and left it 20 min and shampooed very well, rinse out and left The conditioner on,rinsed out and followed up with Olaplex and my hair lifted up all that toner!!! and this is gentle and does not leave your hair dry!! I want to do one more round and I think I will be back to my platinum blonde!!
