I love the packaging with the spray nozzle, it's very convenient and the packaging is enticing. It unfortunately makes your hair stiff and if you sleep with it wet and wake up the next day the hair looks greasy. It also didn't seem to help my hair with any extra heat protection as I'm still getting Crunchy ends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helps tame frizz and detangle I know this is supposed to be a heat protectant but I use it as a leave in conditioner/detangler. I spray it on damp hair, comb through and let it air dry and it helps protect my waves from getting too frizzy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall good protectant I always review products from the outside to the inside. I like the packaging design, the nozzle worked well too. It sprayed wide, which I like. I can't stand when something sprays a big Ol' goop in one spot. I sprayed on my hair both wet and dry. Wet, then hair dried and followed up with a light blow dry. My hair did look shinier (more than usual). I sprayed on dry, then flat ironed. My hair seemed stiffer than normal, but it was really shiny. Overall, I do recommend.

It has a good smell and distributes nicely through wet hair. After drying and straightening the hair is soft and silky with a nice shine.

My clients loved it. it works on both course and finer textures. The only kind I have about it is it leaves a residue on the floor so if you don't have an ergo mat, be careful.

You can get the benefits of a gloss but just using this gloss system. And I mean you know that fresh soft, shiny glossy feeling when you first had your hair done? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Five minutes and you get the same exact results!! How freaking Awesome is that? I absolutely love that this is such an easy upsell to my clients. This is definitely not a product for retail as it should be used in salon only as you're supposed to wear gloves on applying the product. So not necessarily something you want your client taking home to use their shower all over their body. I'm a huge redken fan but honestly this particular product has me in a chokehold. Every single client I have offered it to as an add-on has taken me up on it. How cool is that? I know the product has been out for sometime, but seriously if you haven't tried it do it now! Your pockets will thank you later😉

However, I would not buy this for myself only due to the strong perfumed scent. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves the scent of this as it works beautifully!

I didn't notice anything after using this product. This just claims to be a heat and gloss protection product. I felt like I needed another product to help with smoothing and shine. I do like the spray bottle for easy application. don't recommend this product.

I have added this product into every blow dry I do at the salon. It gives amazing results with lots of shine and smoothes the hair. I love to apply it before detangling because it helps detangle the hair so well. This product hair replaced all of the my other heat protectants, and I will continue to use it on all my clients. This a must have full all stylist and clients!

The hair feels soft and natural with freedom of movement even on the straightest styles. Yet still is lightweight enough to keep volume throughout the day.

I am a fan of Redken's styling products. i am used to using It's A 10 Keratin leave in. The It's A 10 offers more benefits I can feel. My hair feels very soft and nourished. The Redken Acidic Color Gloss leave-in is different but I enjoy it as well. It does detangle but I feel it has more of a slip to it. I feel it doesn't soak in like the It's A 10. I enjoy the smell of the color gloss leave-in. I do feel like it holds up to the claims of detangling and heat protection. The best selling point of the color gloss would be the shine. I do feel like there is a more noticeable shine when I use this versus other leave-ins. I enjoyed the product on my blonde hair but I recently went more bronde and I am enjoying the more noticeable shine on my darker hair.

Of course the heat protection benefit is wonderful, but this spray also acts as an excellent detangler, as well as creating a beautiful shine and light weight smoothness. I use this on myself and just about everyone else now after shampooing. It's great by itself in finer hair but also lovely on coarser texture and curls. I think anyone who uses heat, has colored hair, and/ or is looking for smoothness and shine will enjoy this product.
