The name is a little misleading because to me it implied a shiny glossy finish and I didn't have that at all. There's better heat protectants than this, but it's fine.

I think it added shine and helped smooth some of the frizzles. I would say that it would be more ideal for a person with medium thickness, slightly textured hair as opposed to someone with fine hair. Took one star because I don't find the smell super appealing but overall I think it's a great product.
