Rated 1 out of 5 by from Matrix Super Sync – Disappointing Update I’ve used the original formula for over 20 years and unfortunately, this is not the same product. You can expect unwanted lift when toning, and in some cases, the acidic version isn’t the right choice either. The advertised “1 level of lift” often leads to more corrective work than it’s worth. For me, this update creates more problems than it solves—skip this one.

I’m so glad I was able to try this one! I use Demi color for in between color services to revive the shine and for gray coverage. I was very impressed with my results! My hair was super shiny, soft, refreshed, and did a decent job with gray coverage. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 V is LIFE !!!!! I tried 10V and 6NN My experience with a 10 V was literally amazing. I can’t believe how well it shifted the base tone (was not expecting that amount of lift!!!) lifted from a level four to about a level seven - no joke! It blended the lightened hair without darkening it at all. The 6NN was darker than expected, but there could be user error because I don’t have alot of experience using NN’s. I will forever use 10 V on my naturally dark bleach and tones - it is so good!

I was impressed because I feel like the quality in matrix’s products has improved. But after trying these color samples, I still wouldn’t switch from what I’m using to this. I will say that these new alkaline demis do add shine and leave the hair feeling nice. The gray blending isn’t really there.

And has a light floral almost rose scent. The best part was it felt cooling on the scalp and did not cause any irrigation, and was easy to remove from the skin while washing as well. My only complaint is that it did pull dark, so I would level up— this looks more like a 4nn in my opinion. However, the grey coverage was great!
