Brass Off is a professional salon clarifying shampoo that neutralizes brassy tones while refreshing your hair with cool tones.

What It Does

Best for brunettes who lighten or highlight their hair, this shampoo deposits balancing blue-violet pigments to reduce brassy tones in all hair types. It can be left on your clients’ hair for 3-5 minutes for added toning. 

What Else You Need to Know

• The Brass Off haircare range neutralizes brassy, orange undertones in just one wash when using the Shampoo and Mask. The full collection includes a Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask and Toning Spray.

• The products feature a fragrance with top notes of nectarine, raspberry, and passion fruit.

How To

• Apply to wet hair lather and rinse well. Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off Conditioner.

• Can be left on hair 2-3 additional minutes for added toning.

It is not too heavily scented butI love the conditioner. The first time I used it my color lift was instant. I looked like my highlights had been freshly done. It also leaves my hair feeling so healthy unlike other blue/purple shampoos. I definitely recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by merandab21 from matrix is amazing I love using this blue shampoo on clients with a little bit of brass. this shampoo does an amazing job at correcting the yellow/orange tones but remember this is not a toner so don't rely 100 percent on it to change the color the hair still needs to be lifted to the proper levels!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by geovannab from No more Orange beautifull aparience Finally a solution to Orange! I have caramel golden with highlights at a le. My highlights tend to get yellow brassy, while near my roots is usually orange/red brass. I have only used this shampoo once - followed instructions and left it on for 5 minutes and followed with my normal conditioner. My orange is now warm golden brown, which is still not what I want, but at least it looks like a normal human hair color. Since I left it on for the full 5 minutes, I had to use a ton of conditioner, but my hair ended up super clean, smooth, shiny, and smelling great. This will definitely be my new go-to shampoo, and I also plan to purchase the conditioner. I had been debating on whether or not to return to the salon for a toner, but now I don't have to! This shampoo is a brass eliminating solution!

I’ve tried a ton of toning shampoos, from high end to drug store…this one turned my hair dark and purplish blue after only being left on for 2 minutes. After it colored my hair I detoxed my hair and tried again and diluted it with another shampoo and it was a little better but it honestly was too pigmented and didn’t brighten/neutralize my blonde…it darkened it and made it a dull purplish grey.

I do leave it on for about 5 min in the shower and wrap my hair in a soft ponytail to hold in the shampoo. After 3 uses I had other people asking if I got my hair done! Highly recommend. The best purple/blue shampoo I’ve ever used!

Especially the toning spray is a new concept of a leave in option for brassy hair! Great all around shampoo especially for blondes! Dog doesn’t have much brass but as a professional hair stylist I was able to try these out on a few clients and the results were great! The blue counteracts more of the deeper level blondes brassy orange tones than traditional purple shampoos that counteract the lighter tones of brassy yellow! Definitely recommend trying this trio if you’re a blonde that wants to stay bright!!

I used this on a freshly highlighted blonde who still had some extra brass that I needed to kick and it toned out beautifully neutral. It exceeded my expectations. Pigmented shampoo tends to leave your hair a bit dry but I did not notice any excessive dryness but did follow up with a leave in as usual. I would 100% recommend this shampoo!
