A powder lightener that provides up to 9 levels of lift, evenness of tone, optimal neutralization and visibly lift within 10 minutes thanks to its oil-enriched formula.

• To be used exclusively with Blond Studio 9 oil developer. 

• The 30-Volume Oil Developer is to be used on lengths and ends only. 

• The 20-Volume Oil Developer is to be used on-scalp, length & ends. 

• For enclosed techniques, must use with dedicated L'Oréal Professionnel Aluminum Foils to ensure intended lift and client safety.

I've tried lots and lots of different lighteners but there's so much that I love about this lightener; the first being consistency and the lift!!!! It is to die for. You can see the hair lifting immediately. On clients where is need to use a 30 vol (or higher) I now just use a 20 volume. This to me has been heaven sent. There's no going back to anything else

It also leave the lifting very even and creates a nice blend when balayaging. I dont think I'll switch unless they can beat that!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over The Moon WOW! Seriously, this is the best lightener. You can expect faster, cleaner lift in foils, on scalp, and with balayage. I've taken a natural level one to a level 10 in the designated foils in 45 minutes (never with heat added) and lifted evenly right over a Magirel retouch! The hair is in supreme condition when I'm finished and on the next visits. Regardless of the natural level, when you have hair that gets stuck in that level 8 gold forever, this is your answer! Totally a game changer in lightening.

The consistency is absolutely perfect for flawless application during free hand techniques. It is not gritty as some powder lighteners are, and stays moist and fluid during the application and processing time. Even better, heat is not necessary to promote the lightening during processing. Extremely happy with this new launch! Can't wait until we can order a full supply.

We can now lighten the hair with out having to add in other bonders, and the hair is still in amazing condition! This product lightens quickly and stays wet so you can get to the blond that you are shooting for. I have been doing hair for 20 years and this is by far the best lightener i have gotten my hands on.

I always loved the thick texture of the cream lightener and the playability of MTP and now Up To 9 is so creamy and thick at the same time. It also doesn’t dry out quickly and works fast. I have balayaged, used it on the scalp and foiled with it. I foiled one of my clients that’s hard to lift and usually have to use a toner that with bump her up a little ... I used the recommended foils and she processed in 30 min no heat instead of 50 and was a beautiful white blonde barely needed to tone with dia light!!! I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the foils but I do! They are thick so they stay in place without having to do origami and you can feel how it helps generate heat for that maximum lift. On scalp it was great because the heat from the head worked so well to lift quick and application went on quick and easy to work in the hair. Balayage is my favorite with this now! Especially for a few pop pieces it’s so quick! The recommended mixing ratios for each application were great too felt like I like working with each consistency for what I was doing. This is the lightener I have been waiting for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the new 9 Lightening Powder! OK, so I have only used it in a balayage application with plastic. I feel like it lifts quick and consistently. The consistency of the product is really beautiful for balayage. (You know how we usually mix MTP and Freehands for our balayages for that creamy feel. Well that’s how this product feels) I personally don’t love that you have to use those foils. That’s why I haven’t used it in a foil yet. I personally like using a wide foil and the LP foil isn’t wide enough for my liking. I also feel like the hair feels better after lightening it. Not as rough of a texture. I hope that all helps. Can’t wait to get our hands on more of this great product!
