What It Does
The Sam Villa Signature Series Swivel Shear offers increased flexibility. By being able to keep the wrist straight and the elbow down in all cutting positions the ergonomic benefits are increased helping to create more comfort and control during use. Aside from the swivel thumb benefits, these shears also have handcrafted convex blades that start out sharper and maintain their edge longer versus typical machine beveled blades.

Absolutely the best scissors!
These are the most amazing scissors I have ever used. Once you get use to the swivel thumb, you can never go back. It is like the scissors move right along with your hand. I know they help your body positioning also, less stress on the arms and shoulders. Love them!! Worth every penny!!

Wish I bought them along time ago

New shears!
Still trying to get used to the swivel thumb, it was very loose when I got them. One of my coworkers had some shear screwdriver that she had gotten with her shears, so I was able to tighten it a bit. So I’m still trying to get used to them, but I think I’m liking them.

Still sharp!
I love these swivels so much. They took some getting used to. I would normally buy Hattori Hanzo shears but didn't have the money to spend $800+ at the time and then I found these. I went with the 5'5" because I wanted them for layering and men's cuts where I'm working close to my top knuckle. Turns out... these babies stay sharp! I love them more than my hanzos... for half the cost!? Yes please!! And they're so lightweight. I will definitely be purchasing more of their shears in the future.

Nice Shears
I love the shears, however they are very short. I’m trying to exchange them for the larger size but this company is difficult to work with. Make sure you get what you want first.
