What It Does

The Sam Villa Signature Series Swivel Shear offers increased flexibility. By being able to keep the wrist straight and the elbow down in all cutting positions the ergonomic benefits are increased helping to create more comfort and control during use. Aside from the swivel thumb benefits, these shears also have handcrafted convex blades that start out sharper and maintain their edge longer versus typical machine beveled blades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nwilliamson from I love these for my men's haircuts! I do like these shears a lot, the swivel handle is much more comfortable. I am lucky to have purchased these during a sale and very happy that I did. I use these for my men's haircutting in the 5.5 inch, its easier on my wrist and I cut my fingers less when I use these. The reason I dropped a star is I feel the quality isn't as high as I'm used to with other shears, but these are actually the least expensive shear I own. Perhaps I just need to adjust the tension on it more, but these are still pretty great! I purchased these while looking for an affordable swivel shear, and I found out soon after that Larisa Love uses them too!

I decided on the Sam Villa shears and ABSOLUTLY LOVE THEM! These shears seem like they were made just for me because they feel like and extension of myself. Normally a new set of shears is followed by a box of band aids but not these! I guess it just goes to show what an amazing artist Sam Villa is and how lucky I am to have Salon Centric recognize his skills by carrying his products.
