Volume Maximizer is a lightweight volumizing spray for all hair types and textures that adds weightless, flexible volume to their hair style.

Spray onto damp hair and comb through. Air dry or blow dry style as usual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic volume This product smells amazing. It is not heavy in the hair at all. On fine hair it seemed to help smooth out frizz while enhancing natural volume. On long hair it seemed to give life back to dull weighed down hair. I would highly recommend if your looking to liven up your hair and enhance your natural volume.

Is sprays straight out and not like a mist like I was hoping for. I ended up having to use another bottle. I would recommend it to clients if the sprayer was fixed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thickening spray gel Because this is a gel it sprays in a stream which I don't love. I was sure to spray all my roots and comb through to evenly distribute the product. I blew dry my roots upward and do like that it left little residue. There was a tad texture but my hair seemed to have soaked a lot of the product up. I feel like my hair has decent shape but I honestly prefer more texture for my fine hair to get xl volume. We shall see how it holds up through the day.

It gave my hair volume and did not leave a "product feeling" to my hair afterwards like most thickening products do. I will definitely use this again when I'm feeling ambitious enough to style my hair with a blow out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually works! Love this stuff! I'm pretty sure it's been at least a decade since I've found a volumizing spray that actually did anything. The last one was some purple bottle by Tigi that they discontinued. I've tried probably every root spray in existence with no luck, and I was pretty sure I'd given up. BUT then I found this stuff and I use it after every hair wash. It has a light hold but somehow it magically makes my hair feel so much thicker and more volumized. It isn't sticky either! Usually I look for some stick in a product so that it'll hold, but it isn't even necessary for this one. I have thin hairs but A LOT of them, so my hair is extremely heavy. People assume it's fine hair until they touch it, and then they're very confused. For whatever reason, people assume that I slick my hair down to my head - that's how flat it is. Nothing works on it. But I've finally found something! So happy with this product. I use it on wet hair before doing a blowout/blow dry with a round brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Remarkable Volume! I have to admit I was a bit of a skeptic going into trying this product, primarily because it is a volumizer. Pretty much every volumizer I have ever used hasn't given me even the slightest bit of volume, but I had the opposite result with this product. First, I tried this product after washing (regular shampoo and conditioner) and towel drying my hair and just letting it air dry. Surprisingly, my hair was pretty voluminous. Then, when I tried it with my blow dryer a few days later, I had even more volume to play around with! I can't believe how well this product works. I have never had such an amazing result from a volumizer. For reference, my hair is medium texture; high density, and completely straight. I HIGHLY recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised it smells amazing, fresh. When I spray it in my hand it is not oily or tacky. It is weighless and disappears with no residue. When I put in hair it does not weigh hair down or dry stiff. It controls and defines curls. Gives volume, fullness and shine. The only thing I do not like is the sprayer it comes out in a stream so I spray in my hand and then put on hair. I would like it better if it came out in a mist to evenly cover the hair or a pump to work it though the hair better. Sometime I would pour in my hand to scrunch on curly hair so I would not disturb curls. Change the sprayer and I would give it 5 stars. I would definately recommend

Will be stocking this in my salon by the case!!! I'm not a huge fan of how the product disperses. Wish is was more of a mist. But I'm willing to deal with that to get the amazing results!

I also really love the smell. The only complaint I would say is the concentration of the nozzle. I would prefer more of a mist to spray a broader area for the thickness of the spray vs the "jet" spray in one spot.

I was honestly so afraid to try this because all other thickening and volumizing sprays I've used are literally so sticky and make my hair feel so nasty. Redken has literally created the best thickening and volumizing product I have ever come across. This really helps to create effortless volume while still making your hair feel smooth and soft. Redken never seems to disappoint with their product doing exactly what they say they will do. And it smells amazing! My own complaint would be the packaging. The spray pump to be specific. It did not spay evenly so I did have to spray it in my hand and then apply the product to my hair.
