Volume Maximizer is a lightweight volumizing spray for all hair types and textures that adds weightless, flexible volume to their hair style.

What It Does

• This volumizing spray has instant results for thicker looking and thicker feeling hair, whether air dried or blow dried.

 

• This spray adds flexible volume to your hair from the root to the ends.

What Else You Need to Know

• This volumizing spray is evenly distributed in a fine mist to give weightless, all-over body with a crunch free finish. It can be used to add volume to air dried or blow dried hair styles.

 

• It is formulated with Ceramides and polymers to help provide all day volume and body.

Spray onto damp hair and comb through. Air dry or blow dry style as usual.

The Thickening Maximizer has a nice scent to it, helped build-up body on fine hair. At first, the spray felt sticky upon applying, but dissipated as has was drying. Overall with using all 3 products, There's a nice lift to the hair without feeling heavy or weighed down.

The pump shoots out product in spray clumps or like a stream and it’s hard to spray directly onto hair when your hands are wet. I’d love a spray nozzle like the Amika or new Color Wow sprays. Hate having to spray in my hands.

Overall performance on my clients hair didn’t wow me. I ended up tossing it out. I love most Redken products and recommend them to clients. This one I did not love.

I like to spray it in my hand then apply to wet hair because I have more control on where it goes. It gives the hair a lot of texture without being crispy, heavy or sticky after dry. I'm into it!
