What It Is

A Pre-Styling Spray. Doubles the diameter of hair and protects hair from heat and environmental damage.

• Amaranth Protein and Pro-Vitamins interlock with natural sugars wrapping the hair and expanding with heat creating thicker hair

Spray a liberal amount onto damp hair before blow drying. Use alone or layer under your Awaken styling products. May be used to air dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really works! I have extremely straight hair and was curious if this product would do anything for me hair, and it totally did! I spray it on after washing my hair when my hair is about 1/2 dry and then blow dry it. My hair feels thicker and fuller and love that it works like a post-shower hair serum. Great scent, a little goes a long way so worth what you pay!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for fine hair This is a great product for fine or thin hair. I use it on clients before blow dry/styling as well as adding texture after styling. It doesnt weigh hair down, and it doesnt leave a sticky/crunchy feel to your hair. Its very lightweight but a little goes a long way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from would use again I liked this product for a thickening spray. I have fine hair And can use a good thickening spray. It didnt leave my hair crunchy or crispy and it has a nice smell. I used it mainly at the roots of my hair for some body. I will use this again and would recommend for fine hair clients.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from thickening This is a hard one to review, because I rarely use thickening sprays, and my hair is thick, but I tried it out and I liked the amount of hold it had, and I curled my hair after blow drying. I could see it being sticky if overused, but worked well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ehhh I have short thin hair & thought this product would be great for adding a little volume when blow drying. It does provide volume, but it also makes the hair feels dry. I prefer & recommend Surface's thickening cream. This item will unfortunately take up space in the drawer & only be used as a back up :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Subtle Volume Im not usually a fan of root boost products as I feel that they leave residue and dont hold up for as long as Id like, I tend to only wash my hair 1-2x a week. This one was pretty lightweight, there wasnt any residue left on the scalp or hair shaft with this product. I did use Velcro rollers from Drybar to set my crown section, but I always do that, and it stayed looking voluminous for most of the afternoon. I wished it held up a little longer, but I did like the results and that I didnt have to wash my hair sooner to get any residue out of my hair.

Not only do I use it behind the chair but I bought another bottle for myself at home. This has become a true staple in my morning routine. 10/10 recommend.

Upon first application it feels a little too thick and tacky but after blow drying that feeling goes away.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from smells amazing! This spray has a lot of grip, preferably for fine hair. I love to use it as a primer, but please be aware that it isnt for all hair types. I recommend to use a light amount. Its perfect for hair types that have a hard time holding a curl.
