Because when you are usually using a thermal protection you are moving the hair a lot to get a desire ld look. Well with the setting mist in it. It creates a big sticky mess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just Not For Me… I have straight hair that is prone to frizz so when I straighten it, it's simply to add smoothness and shine…I don't need hold. It's basically hairspray which is good I suppose if you are creating a style that you need hold for, but for my use case, I don't need it. Also, it is super duper sticky, which makes the styling process a nightmare. So even if I was curling my hair, I would not be reaching for this.

There is also thermal restyling technology, so the hair can be refreshed day two without needing to reapply. This was great on curls and really held them. I wouldn't recommend using when you straighten your hair, it just made it weird. It held the curls all day and into the next day! I would definitely recommend this to friends and will buy again!

Thermal sprays are definitely important to keep hair from damage especially on your ends. This spray adds shine while protecting as well which is a plus for me.

It's perfect for those updos that need extra hold or those fine hair that won't hold a curl. It's also great for a roller set.
