This root tease actually works and is light enough to not make me need to shampoo the next day like I used to after a typical root boost product. I like the results and will continue to use this.

Texture is the same consistency as hair spray. Fragrance is light. I'm getting used to using it as a finishing spray vs a use-on-wet-hair kind of root spray. I did receive this product as a sample, so I don't think I would buy it again, only because a universal hair spray will do the trick just the same in my opinion. I don't need multiple different types of hairspray..

It's easy to explain to them for proper use and they can get that nice big hair at home. It works well in the salon as well for one of my clients who loves her hair super straight but also wants volume which is always a bit of a struggle. Shes a happy camper now and so am I!

Root Tease by Redken definatly holds true to the Redken brand. They quaility of a product that does what it says it will do. I love that it is a spray mist so no over use in one spot. I goes in so easy. I have used it on wet hair and then dry and WOW! It really gave the volume and lift. I have also use on dry hair, it gave the ump that was needed!

I really wasn't sure what to expect with it, and after trying it, I'm not sure if I'm impressed or a bit confused. It definitely creates a nice texture base at the root for a teased and voluminous look but it also felt like spraying glue on my hair. It left my hair very tangled almost to the point of pain when I tried to brush it out. I did succeed in brushing it out but there was no way I could run my fingers through my hair with the product in there. I tried on myself on clean hair for a nice of going out to dinner, I'd like to try again on a client requesting an updo.

After using this product, my hair looked better and was less frizzy!! this was a game changer for my long thick hair.
