I don't know how to describe it, but you spray it in and it refreshes without dampening the hair much. Reactivates the gel and provides shine and definition without getting sticky.

It's good for mids but especially great for ends. I feel like this revived the curls and brought their definition back. Be careful spraying closer towards the roots, as I felt it created a greasy look towards the roots.

I don't want to describe it as oily, but it would definitely be best for someone with medium/thicker hair as I can imagine if you spray a bit too much on it can become heavy. I love using it on clean hair that I have diffused, it breaks the set and adds a nice shine and gloss to the hair. A very nice curl refresher as well as it mentions.
