Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lack of Action I tried this product numerous times in a summer and fall in a variety of weather conditions. It was easy to apply just watch the initial touch to your hair so as to not have an obvious oily spot. Maybe because I have salt and pepper hair tone that the shine I hoped for never materialized. My coarse hair texture did feel softened though. My hair still frizzed on humid days nor did it help the fly aways when humidity was low. I could not recommend this to anyone that didn't already have near perfect hair. I was kindly provided a sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. The opinion expressed here is mine and mine alone.

This product does what it's supposed to do so that wasn't my problem. It was the smell. It was not appealing to me at all. That being said scent is a preference. An opinion if you will. Hope this review will be helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From doll ringlets to sexy beach waves I know this product isnt advertised for this specifically, but it gives my curls the prettiest texture! I havent mastered the beachy waves with my.flat iron and.tend to end up with those victorian era doll curls, which is not my goal. But putting 2 pumps of this on my palms and raking it through relaxes the curls a bit, separates, makes it super shiny and takes away frizz while imparting a light sexy scent that makes me love redken products so much. Even when I use way too much it never looks greasy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really is invisible! I have used hair oils in the past but was disappointed by their, well, OILiness. Redken's Oil for All is different. My hair is very long, past shoulder length, and I use 4 pumps. Even after 2 days, my hair is not greasy or oily but is definitely softer. After a month of use both air-drying and occasionally blow-drying, I am happy with the results. Frizz is reduced, sheen is improved, and my hair is noticeably softer. At the rate I am using it, I expect this bottle to last at least 6 more months, if not more. Thank you to Redken for changing my mind about hair oils.

My long hair no longer frizz like the grass after blowing dry. But the bottle mouth is a little bit small, I would like to pour on hands to put on my long hair.

So glad I got to sample and review the REDKEN Oil For All....I love the scent of it....so refreshing....the clean scent reminds me of a salon experience....I used it to control some of the frizz I have in my curly hair....It dried quickly without making my hair feel dried out...It also left my hair super shiny (not oily looking, which was a concern).....I also love the fact that it is very lightweight too!! I have always been a REDKEN fan and still am!! signed, a REDKEN customer for life!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes my hair shine and the frizz go away! I really love the Redken brand so I was very excited to try this out. I'm not really crazy about using oil products in my hair since it tends to be on the oily side anyway but thankfully this product just sucked right into my hair! It tames my frizziness after a shower and made it shine! Only reason for 1 star removed was because I wasn't too thrilled with the smell. It doesn't smell bad at all but I just wasn't a fan of it. It smelled a little to much like cologne or something. I still plan on using up the bottle though.

I also put it on the skin from head to toe. My skin was so soft & hydrated. This is seriously the best product ever! Highly recommend this to all.

I have crazy curly hair and straight and it helps take frizz easily without being weighted down, it can be buildable without looking greasy, doesn't leave an orange glow to my hair like other oils. Helps smooth split ends when you're needing a haircut but can't find the time! 10/10 would recommend!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells like hand sanitizer! To preface, I used to work at a beauty store and have always recommended Redken products. I've had a lot of luck with Redken and love the Extreme Recovery, Very Soft, and Frizz line so I was ecstatic to review this product. Unfortunately, this product, meant to give shine and smoothness, has alcohol as the second ingredient!! I didn't even need to read the ingredients to tell as this product smells very strongly of alcohol! Just like hand sanitizer! I'm incredibly disappointed as alcohol is notorious for drying out hair which is the opposite of what I would want in an oil. Especially on my ends! Overall I would not recommend this product and am seriously disappointed in the ingredients but very much still enjoy other Redken products.

I use hair oils the most and was excited to try this out. It is clear, lightly scented, and works well! It tames my frizzy hair and makes it look so much nicer and shinier without the greasy look that other hair oils might give. I love the Redken brand and definitely recommend this one I will recommend this to friends and family.

It also serves so many purposes which is amazing. Its also been doing a great at controlling my frizz which I can't get enough of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! This hair oil is a holy grail hair product! It leaves your hair feeling so soft and shiny. I have dry, damaged hair and with this oil my hair feels completely transformed when I use this! All you need is a dime size amount, because a little goes a long way. I also love how I can use it on both wet/dry hair which definitely helps when my hair feels dry and frizzy. All in all, this hands down is a perfect and reliable hair oil that will not weigh hair down or leave a heavy oily residue. I love this stuff and I highly recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybe, Maybe Not. When I first took the pump out to smell it, it smelled like straight rubbing alcohol then musty (like men's scents usually are). Maybe it was because I needed to shake it up?! Not sure, but that initially turned me off from it. To be fair, I tried it a couple more times to see if i truly liked it or not. The 3rd time i tried it, i didn't get the same scent as the first. It was more subdued, but i would like the fragrance turned down some. What i did like the most is that it didn't feel greasy or oily and it absorbed very well. I would recommend as is - IF the consumer was ok with a high fragrant oil. If they dialed down the fragrance then I would recommend for everyone.

You can use it on damp or dry hair without it leaving your hair feeling stringy or looking oily. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Improvement needed I have used it for the past week and half with only some success. It did give my hair a shine and pleasant fragrance but did nothing for my hairs moisture. It seemed to make my hair ends frizzier than usual except when i used it when my hair was extremely damp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful shine I will start out by saying I have ultra long mid thigh length hair. The mid to ends can get very dry very easily. I found that this oil did add some very nice lustre to my hair. Even on days where it was a bit drier than I like, it did a lovely job on my hair. Start with a small amount and work your way up. To much on certain hair types will get stringy. Really liking the product and very happy with my results.

My daughter is a professional hair dresser and she only uses salon product in my hair. Well i was pleasantly surprised as the item did not leave any type of build up in my hair and when I used this product before giving myself a blow out, my hair felt silky and smooth. I am very pleased with this product and will by buying more when my sample is done. Great job REDKEN
