Frizz Dismiss is a collection of haircare products and treatments providing humidity protection and smoothing benefits for all hair types. The collection features Redken's Smoothing Complex infused with Babassu Oil to tame flyaways and decrease puffiness while increasing manageability and shine. The formulas feature a warm beachy fragrance with notes of vanilla, jasmine, pear and citrus for an invigorating experience with every use.

Damp Hair: Apply on clean damp hair prior to air drying or heat styling to smooth hair and prevent any static fly-aways and frizz.

 

Dry Hair: Apply on dry hair prior to heat styling for an extra smooth style or apply on dry hair as needed to instantly smooth any static fly-aways and frizz.

I have baby fine hair and I was worried that oil would weigh it down or make it greasy and this doesn't. This is definitely a product I will buy when my free bottle runs out.

I gave this oil a try and my hair looks great when I use it. My hair stays frizz free and gets a nice shine after I spray this on. I now use this daily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Got Rid of Frizz and Static but Weighed hair Down So the Frizz Dismiss Anti Static Oil did help with static and frizz but it weighed my hair down making it heavy and limp. I like my hair to have volume and bounce. Using this product took that all away. My hair is very fine so it might work better for someone with thicker hair. It's just not for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not my favorite I was excited to try Redken Frizz Dismiss Anti Static Oil as I have rather coarse, dry hair. And I love a lot of the Redken line, many are my go-to favorites. When I first used it, it seemed to work like a dream, smoothing - and giving shine and masking my flyaways. PLUS, it hid any split ends. Only problem...it didn't last throughout the day. So it is a good product, but not great. I use it 'on the go' now, when I may need a touch up, right walking into an event, but that's it, because it isn't overkill on oil, which is a nice touch, I'll admit that. Just not an all day product.

I am always a little concerned about oils with my super fine strands (I have very thick hair because I just have a ton of them) since my hair is easily weighed down, disrupting my natural curl pattern. Thankfully, this spray is pretty darn lightweight! I didn't notice any real flattening of my curls due to this product, which made me quite happy. It did well at smoothing flyaways and adding shine. The scent is subtle and inoffensive. I am glad I received a sample to test because I quite liked it.

We live in a desert like community with very low humidity so we deal with static in our hair year around. This is easy to apply when your hair is showing static. I applied it on combed and dry hair. It sort of feels like there is product in your hair after you spray it in but it is minor. iT really helped my hair with static. I am looking forward to trying this in the winter when low humidity and sweaters give me tons of static.

It's advertised as being an anti frizz product but it doesn't help at all with my frizz. Saying that you must be like ok sounds easy enough but the thing is that I actually like it. It makes my hair soft and shiny. With that being said I can't say it's good for what it's meant to be for but it is good for something! If they change the packaging and advertise it as an oil for smooth shiny hair than this would be a 5 star review!
