Lift high, lift bright, lift strong. Flash Lift Power 9 Bonder Inside is Redken’s most powerful lightener with built-in bonding with up to 9 levels of lift.

 

What It Does

Power 9 Bonder Inside provides up to 9 levels of lift with built-in bonding technology and breaks through red, orange, & yellow undertones. This lightener helps protect strong disulfide bonds and is formulated with Glycine and Citric Acid to preserve the integrity of the hair. Experience a powerful, clean, even lift for all hair types and textures.

What Else You Need to Know

• Up to 9 levels of lift​

• Built-in bonding power. No additive needed. ​

• Consciously designed packaging with 80% less plastic vs. Flash Lift plastic tub​

*With Power 9 Bonder Inside, Shades EQ Bonder Inside, and Acidic Bonding Concentrate System.

PREPARATION:

• Mix in a variable ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 for optimal consistency for a variety of applications.

• Wear suitable disposable gloves.

• Mix product in a well-ventilated area.

• Put the recommended amount of Flash Lift Power 9 lightener and chosen developer in a non-metallic bowl. Blend until smooth consistency is achieved.

 

APPLICATION AND RINSING:

• Wear suitable disposable gloves.

• Do not let product run onto scalp.

• Do not use metallic tools (clips, comb, etc).

• Rinse hair well after development time.

 

FOR OFF AND ON SCALP APPLICATIONS:

When performing highlights with foil application, exclusively use Aluminum foils ref SOFT ALLOY 1235, 18um (i.e. Product Club SHF500-SL), SOFT ALLOY 20um or SOFT ALLOY 1200, 18um (Norms EN 573) Procare.

Even the most fragile hair can use this product because of its bonding agents for protecting from damage. It can lift those extra few levels and offers a blue base for extra help canceling warmth. I love that it comes with a bonder because it gives you that extra security to safely lift hair. The cool undertones are great to help neutralize warmth when lifting darker levels. The creme pro-oxide is very versatile and blends well with other brands. It's creamy consistency also helps to not over use or waste product when using correct measurements. But the most important reason I love this lightener is because it is gentle on the scalp. It doesn't burn the skin or irritate the skin when doing on scalp applications as a lot of other lighteners do in my experience. Other lighteners always burn or irritate my scalp and have caused my scalp to become extremely red making it difficult and uncomfortable to lift the hair safely.

I am not sure if it is due to the Bonder inside or not but I would rather add my Bonder in than to use this lightener.

It is a little better than the original bonder bleach powder but not better than the regular without bonder as far as lifting goes. Always seems to not lift as well.
