What It Does

• Mixing Ratio 1:2 - 1 Flash Lift Pod (15 g) + 1 oz. (30 ml) Developer

• Add 1 Flash Lift Pod into color bowl and pour 1 oz. of developer over pod.  Mix well.  Process for up to 50 minutes.

• 2 pods = 1 scoop

 

Pro Tip: Place the Pod into the bowl and then pour the developer over, making sure it’s 1 Pod : 1 oz. Developer! Use a plastic whisk to break down Pod and mix until smooth!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These were terrible I decided to try these since they were new and looked so easy to use. First off I had to use 4 on my client's head to even amount to what I needed. There is very little product in each pod. Next, they don't dissolve. There were little clumps of the pouch all in my client's head. I spent double the time trying to dissolve the pods than I normally do by mixing the powder. The pods are also extremely expensive compared to a bucket of the powder itself. I will never buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Same great Flashlift! The #1 reason I like these pods is easy mixing, and knowing your mixing to perfect consistency for optimum results every time. There is less mess from dumping power, and it's nice to have something that feels more travel friendly. I felt the lifting power was just as great! The only thing I didn't like is the little bits of the packaging that I kept finding in the lightener even though I mixed forever with a whisk. I didn't feel they much inhibited the power of the product but were rather a minor annoyance in application when they would get stuck on the brush. Otherwise cool product! Not sure I would pay more for it then a regular bag of flashlift.

However, I found that it was harder to actually mix the pod & developer together. I took longer to get the pod fully disintegrated & mixed into the developer than it would with just mixing the power & developer together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not terrible Over all the pods aren't bad. Easy to use. Takes the guessing out if measuring. However, they take extra time to mix and dissolve. And can leave some small chunks of pod behind. So you need to be vigilant and be sure to really really mix well.

So easy to mix as well and gives the same results as the redken flash lift with bonder inside lightner. The best thing ever!! These pods keeps hair healthy during the process as well!! I love how the ratio is already mixed....just add developer over the top and you are good to go!!

If you already love redken flash lift these are for you! I would definitely buy for foils. The only reason I took one star out is because the lightener swells a bit and it's not good for balayage when I don't want it to do do that. However it does lift very nicely otherwise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad, but not great either The idea of the flash lift pods bonder inside is a great one, but really falls flat for me. Pre-measured lightener that already includes a bonding agent is VERY time saving, however the outer casing never completely dissolved and I would have to pick the clumpy bits out of the bowl or off of the hair once the lightener was applied. And I actually lost time while waiting for the lightener to process. On this particular client I let it process at room temp for the full 50 minutes with 20 volume, but should have used 30 volume with these pods. Normally I use Flash Lift 20 volume for only 30 minutes with this client. I'm not totally opposed to the pods, they just wouldn't be my first choice of product to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great option The pods are much less messy and you never have to wonder how much you added in because each pod is the exact amount. Only downside is you can not break up the outside layer with just a brush you will need a whisk to mix everything properly.
