Redken Extreme Shampoo contains Amino Acids and Arginine to help rebuild the structure of hair and Citric Acid to condition hair and help add smoothness. The shampoo has a great fresh scent and lathers beautifully. A protein shampoo is always a great addition to any shower or salon back bar.

After using this shampoo in addition with the conditioner and leave in treatment, I have significantly less split ends. If you are expecting to see a difference after one use, this probably isn't for you. This line took me some time to see actual results. My hair feels much softer and I definitely notice not as many split ends! I will absolutely continue using this line!

I haven't noticed any instant results or differences in my hair after using this line for a few weeks. I love most Redken shampoos and conditioners that I have used but this line falls a little short for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Product I recently tried Redken's Extreme Shampoo.  I use lightener on my hair so using products to bring back the integrity of my hair is important!  I applied about a dime sized amount of the Extreme shampoo to my hair, washed twice, then followed up with Redken's Extreme Conditioner and Leave-In Conditioner.  Since I lighten my hair I have some damage and using Redken's Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner along with the leave-in treatment has helped in repairing my hair and making it feel so soft!  I would definitely recommend especially for people with fine hair that lighten their hair!

I wouldn't use this as an every time I wash product but some thing I'd add every few washes. I have fine hair and I didnt feel like this product was too heavy. I would definitely recommend it to customers that I use lightener on.

You can't use this for a long time because your hair will become too dry. Once my hair has left that breakage stage I use this once a month.
