Extreme Play Safe is an all-in-one powerful solution for damaged hair. This leave-in conditioner and multi benefit treatment works to reduce damage, strengthen hair, prevent breakage, all while protecting from heat damage up to 450 degrees F.

What It Does

What Else You Need to Know

Extreme products feature protein-infused formulas to restore hair strength and prevent breakage and split ends. Clients saw a 75% reduction in breakage with a system of Extreme Shampoo, Conditioner, and Anti-Snap.

While I did like the feel of this lightweight product throughout the hair, I didn't like the smell. I thought it worked well after drying the hair keeping it feeling smooth though. Overall it did work pretty well.

It's a tad looser than I like my leave ins but ultimately that had no negative effect, it's just as good as my normal leave in if not better. Love that if has so many good benefits to it in one step.

After I had shampooed and conditioned with the Reken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner, I towel dried my hair and started spraying the Redken Extreme Play Safe Leave-In Treatment all over. I then used a comb to evenly disperse. I threw a little heat on my head to assist with drying and then let it finish air drying the rest of the way. I wanted to see how it would do without alot of heat. My hair was shiny...it made my curls pop a little...it smoothed down the cuticle...I took a before and after photo and I have to say that using those three products together really made my hair look and feel healthier and I was extremely impressed with them.

I never use cream for my hair when straightening it since it will leave my hair frizzy. I tried it on a friend with 2B textured hair and it left her hair shiny and healthy with no flyaways. It does not leave the hair with the smell of the flat iron. I dime size is only needed when applying to the hair in sections.
