What Else You Need to Know

Extreme products feature Redken's Strength Complex with protein-infused formulas to restore hair strength and prevent breakage and split ends. Clients saw a 75% reduction in breakage with a system of Extreme Shampoo Conditioner and Anti-Snap.

How To

Recommended for at-home use 1-3 times per week based on the hair's condition. After shampooing, spray evenly on hair and lather. Leave on 3-5 minutes and rinse. Follow with the appropriate conditioner.

PRO TIP: Recommend to all clients who often receive haircolor and chemical services such as perms, relaxers, and double process blonde services. Extreme CAT can be used prior to a color service to equalize the porosity of the hair and optimize for even color results. Extreme CAT is a must for all color corrections!

It really helps your hair's manageability and seems to help with tangles and frizz. I love that this bottle lasts a long time since a small amount of product really goes a long way. It has a nice clean scent too. This is now a staple in my shower and I would highly recommend it! I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

I've yet to find a redken product I don't like! I have been using this three times weekly in my shower routine for four months now and I have noticed my lengths have indeed grown stronger. I don't have any frizz, nor have I had any flyaway hairs, which I am used to snagging and snapping on car doors, clothing, or even accidentally snapping myself. My hair is very sleek and shiny, and I'm really glad this bottle is huge, because I definitely plan to buy another when it runs out. My rating for the cat treatment is 10/10 - it's an excellent affordable hair treatment, I highly recommend it to anyone with fine hair that tends to 'snap'.

I have used close to half of the bottle and haven't noticed my hair is any stronger or healthier. It has a strange smell and the bottle wasn't easy to use while wet in the shower. I'm sad to say this did not work for me. I'll be gifting the rest to my mother to try as she has a different hair texture. I'll report back on her results.

I do feel I have less breakage after using as well. Only downside is the bottle can be a bit tedious to spray the liquid to cover the area of application, if you have long hair, but definitely not a dealbreaker.

I've been using this rinse out treatment for some time now, the bottle is about empty. I honestly have not experienced any noticeable differences in my hair. The product is sprayed on and rinsed out. The fragrance is light and dissipates. I didn't notice it being sticky or changing the feel of my hair at all. I probably wouldn't recommend this to my friends and family.

I bought a bottle a few weeks ago, after they changed the packaging and the formula seems to have changed as well. It doesn’t keep my fine hair detangled like it use to, and it seems like I need to do a treatment weekly instead of monthly.
