I’m very particular when it comes to conditioner as I’m someone who tries to use minimal conditioner to prevent my hair from getting oily and weighed down. Working in a salon for years Redken was always my go to product. I was so excited to receive this new Redken line in the mail. This conditioner has it all. It has a pH balanced formula and it keeps your color looking vibrant and fresh weeks after getting your hair done. Most shampoos/conditioners strip your color or oxidize your hair color too fast. With the Redken Color Magnetics conditioner it not only leaves your hair feeling soft and moisturized but it protects your color treated hair from looking dull and lifeless. I have really hard to maintain red violet, and I could see it preserving my color, by how much color wasn't rinsing out when I showered. I just got use to pink toned rinse water! But with this it was almost clear and I didnt have to use freezing water in the process. The shampoo smells great but the conditioner smell is even better, there's something about it that just rocks my socks. My hair feels soft, smooth, and was way easier to detangle than I'm use to. I wore it straight for the first time in MONTHS because it looked so sleek!

The smell of the conditioner is amazing! My hair feels and looks nourished and what’s amazing no color fade! My colored curls loved how lightweight it is and how they bounced instead of weighed down. I would definitely buy again and recommend!

This is made for color extension and I can’t give an honest review in that as my hair isn’t freshly colored and was already faded. I definitely would purchase this though because I love the way it makes my hair feel. The smell isn’t overwhelming but is a bit perfume-y in my opinion.

It is just moisturizing enough for my fine hair and does not leave any oily residue like other conditioners tend to do. The scent is very pleasant and not at all overwhelming.
