Along with the shampoo, it does very well protecting color though. I always recommend using this as just a part of a regimen as this duo is not a good everyday use- it can feel drying over time, maybe once every couple shampoo/conditions.

Color extending and additional shine while adding a smoothness is exactly what I look for. Helps with detangling and leaves hair feeling conditioned.

If this is applied only mid lengths to ends in a small amount, it rinses out well. If to much is applied to the roots- it is very hard to fully rinse out, hence causing weigh down. I still love it when used sparingly. My hair was so reflective and shiny after styling.
