Color Extend Graydiant features an anti-yellow purple shampoo and color-depositing purple conditioner to brighten and strengthen gray and silver hair. Color Extend Graydiant is formulated with Citric Acid & customized violet pigments to transform gray hair and for 2x stronger* hair strands.

How To

Use as a complete system with Color Extend Graydiant Conditioner. Wearing suitable gloves apply to wet hair lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For maximum benefits leave second lather on 3-5 minutes. Rinse. Follow with Color Extend Blondage Conditioner.

CAUTION: This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness. Avoid contact with eyes and skin (other than areas of application). If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Wear disposable gloves when applying. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not use on sensitive or irritated scalps. Perform the following skin allergy test 48 hours before each use of this product as allergies can develop suddenly even though you have previously used a haircolor product from this brand or another.

SKIN ALLERGY TEST: With soap and water wash an area the size of a quarter in the bend of your elbow. Pat dry with absorbent cotton. Apply product to test area using an absorbent cotton-tipped applicator. Let test spot dry. Do not wash cover or disturb for 48 hours. Examine test area periodically over the next 48 hours. If you experience any reactions - such as redness burning itching swelling skin abrasions eruptions or irritation in or around the test area you SHOULD NOT USE THIS PRODUCT OR ANY HAIRCOLOR UNTIL AFTER CONSULTING A DOCTOR.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kara4 from Great For Silver/White/Gray Hair! The Redken Color Extent Graydiant Purple shampoo and its conditioner are both great products. Leaves my totally gray hair soft and a bright white. No yellows. I use mine every 2 weeks or so. In between I only rinse out my hair with a different conditioner. Note that both these products deposit a tiny bit of temporary color in your hair so they are quite colorful when you put a bit in your palm for hair washing. Once when I used it twice in a week I did have someone say they saw a tinge of blue in my hair while out in bright sun, but this has not been a problem when using it every other wash. Also, I do not use gloves when using these products and so far have not had any problem with colors transferring to my hands, nails, shower curtain or to my porcelain tub. Love this stuff.

It tones your hair evenly and consistently. The scent it a little more prominent than I would ideally like, but that's only because I'm scent-sensitive.

The Redken Color Extend Graydiant Purple Shampoo has significantly helped my hair, not only removing the unsightly yellow and brassy tones, but softening it as well! The color of the shampoo, like others I've tried, is a dark purple and it has a pleasant, sweet fragrance. Like most purple toning products, it recommends that you wear gloves to prevent staining, but I haven't had any issues just using my bare hands. Keep in mind I quickly washed the shampoo off my hands and made sure it's washed away from the walls or floor of my shower to avoid any further staining. The directions are clear and the whole process is pretty straightforward: apply, lather, rinse and leave on for 3-5 minutes, repeating as needed. Some shampoos can make my hair feel stripped, but this one thankfully did not. My hair was still easily manageable and felt cleansed. I used this alongside the corresponding Graydiant Conditioner, and my hair felt soft and hydrated while I noticed my yellow tones basically vanishing after several uses. I would definitely purchase this system again when I run out! I received this complimentary and all thoughts are my own.
