I felt for a color protecting shampoo this was actually very drying and I needed to use a leave in even after using the conditioner. This might be good for some who does low maintenance color

Usually if I'm using a regular shampoo I can continue to see color loss on the 2nd/3rd wash and for my hair I did not see any color wash out at all. I have dark brown roots that fade into blonde and I also noticed my blonde not getting as brassy as fast. Over all I've enjoyed using this shampoo and I would recommend it. The smell isn't the most pleasant compared to other Redken shampoos I've tried, but it's not a deal breaker. It left my hair feeling soft not dried out at all. I would repurchase this shampoo.

I felt like the hair was very soft after and moisturized and color looked vibrant. I am still a little concerned about the IPN. I worry about using a protein product daily. After trying the product, I did purchase the liter size of this for my back bar in my salon. The IPN would make me hesitant to recommend it for every day use.

It didn't do anything for my hair, weighed it down, and did not lather nearly as nice as Redken's magnetic line does. The smell was pleasant, and I would use this as a "take on vacation" shampoo. If I were to purchase Redken's color extend line, I would definitely buy the Magnetics instead.

I have very thick, coarse, color treated hair. It probably lathers better for fine to med hair. It did help keep my color longer. While I wouldn't buy again for myself, I would recommend to someone with fine/med hair to preserve their color.

It's been a month since I got my hair done and usually it has faded a few shades by now and it still looks like it did the day I got it done!
