Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this shampoo! This shampoo was great! I liked the light, clean smell. It wasn't too heavy and lathered well. I had just had some fun color put into my hair for the second time. I swear this shampoo helped the color last longer. I got a lot more time out of the color this time around than the last. And the only difference was the shampoo! Redken has always been a solid brand and I would recommend this product for anyone who colors their hair.

The best features are that it is a thick creamy formula that lathers and smells great. It rinses clean and a little goes a long way on my long, thick, curly hair. The color extend makes it a perfect shampoo for my color treated hair and helps it feel less brittle and dry when I use it with the conditioner. Overall, this is my new go-to color extend shampoo!

I've been using henna for the past several months and the Redken products have truly extended the life of the color job. This is not my first time using Redken Color Extend, but it is my first time using it with a natural dye. Previously it performed beautifully on hair treated with commercial salon color, and i was a little nervous using it with henna. The shampoo has done an awesome job so far. My color remains vibrant, with no fading, and the hair itself is softer, less stripped-feeling than with a regular shampoo. I love the smell too. I will gladly remain a Redken user.
