I tried the new Redken Color Extend Shampoo for about a month before reviewing, as I wanted to use it long enough to see if it truly made a difference in extending my hair color! It smells great, and my hairs looks and feels food when using the shampoo and conditioner together, as I did each time. I think it did actually extend my color, which in my case, is mainly covering gray roots! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I couldn't tell a huge difference in this product and others I have used. But I did like it!

I use a color extend now, what can be the difference? Well. I will say my hair felt soft, tangle free and felt cleaner longer. I'm a wash every other day gal, and my hair felt clean, not oily, not dry, just like I had washed it. I feel like my color didn't rinse out as quickly either. After using both the shampoo and the conditioner for a few weeks I can say I will be buying this product again. My hair was soft, silky, shiny and color held longer. The scent is lovely as well.

I color my hair every 4 weeks as I always have regrowth by the end of the 3rd week. This shampoo seems to work well for color treated hair. I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. I like this shape and color of the bottle and the shape is an improvement over previous Redken bottle styles. It is easy to hold and looks nice. This product is formulated with cranberry oil to strengthen the vibrancy of color treated hair. I would have preferred this to be sulfate free, which would bump the rating to 4 stars. I like that this product has protein for my hair.

I was so excited to open up my BzzKit and see that it was the full size options!! I colored my hair at home exactly two weeks ago today and began using the shampoo and conditioner the very next day. I have to agree that it really does extend the life of my dye job!!! Usually my greys start peeking out a week after I color it. That's how fast my hair grows!! But we're at the two week mark now and there's nothing!!! I'm extremely satisfied with my trial and plan on continuing to use this product so that I can get more time out of my color job.

The scent makes you feel like you just left the salon, anyone who gets their hair professionally done knows what I am talking about here. My hair also was very clean deep down to the scalp and could easily go a day or more without washing, this shampoo is truly a winner. < y frizzy hair really benefited from the strengthening and smoothing effects making it healthy looking and shiny! The bottles are nicely sized for travel and the flip top is easy to manage in the shower

It lathered up really well and did not leave any residue after using it. I wash my hair every 3-4 days and this took care of left over hair products that were used to style my hair and make it clean. The product itself has a nice smell that is not overpowering. I used Redken color extend conditioner after and it made my hair silky and shiny. The shampoo and conditioner are a great combination for color treated hair.
