Color Extend Blondage features a color-depositing purple shampoo, conditioner, and mask which help to tone and strengthen blonde hair for long-lasting beautiful haircolor.

Use as a complete system with Redken Color Extend Blondage conditioner twice a week. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For maximum benefits leave second lather on for 1-3 minutes or longer if needed. Rinse.

The pigment is strong enough but not too strong that you have to worry about overtoning. I recommend using every couple shampoos to keep blondes from yellowing, or leaving the shampoo in longer to tone out existing yellow. It does stain my hands sometimes, but it washes off quickly.

It tones the hair nicely but i would be careful, make sure you have yellow tone or it will be purple or grey looking if there are hair is white. It does not completely tone gold hair. it lathers nicely for a purple shampoo. I would recommend with caution as I do with other purple based shampoos. Not an everyday shampoo.

Acts as a toner when your blonde starts to get the yellow coming through. Doesn't seem as drying as other purple shampoos. Just don't over use it. 2x a week seems sufficient. Don't leave it on too long or you risk picking up a little bit of purple color. Smells nice too.

Did notice a lavender hue on a client with VERY porous hair. So maybe mix with regular shampoo or don't leave on as long. Did leave hair slightly more dry than other shampoos. Would not recommend for every wash but maybe weekly for maintenance and prevention of brassiness.

I have fine chemically treated hair and I don't believe this shampoo weighs my hair down at all. It lathers really good, smells AMAZING, and leaves my hair feeling super clean. When I use the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mask blondage products together my hair feels like silk! A must add to any blondes routine.

Now my hair is the prefect shade of blonde. I also feel like there is less breakage. My hair feels all around healthier and vibrant. I only need to use it every other wash, but I would say use it until you reach the blonde you are happy with.
