Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just okay Before receiving this mask as part of a review campaign, I had no knowledge about the product. But as soon as I got it, I was so excited to test it out. I have very very thick hair but each strand is very fine and my hair currently hits a few inches below the bra line & is blonde. Typically when I think of a "hair mask" I assume that means that it'll be moisturizing or nourishing. But unfortunately, this mask totally died my hair. I spent twice as long brushing through it & even after it was brushed, my hair felt like tiny pine needles. It did cool my hair down just a little bit but not enough for me to want to use it again unless it is followed up with a deep conditioner! I could see this working well for someone who is a white/platinum (level 10+) but the hair would absolutely need to be in the best shape otherwise the product will most likely cause it to look & feel extremely dry.

All my clients fell in love with the smell. Redken Color Extend Blondage Mask helps neutralize brassiness at any blonde level, to get rid of that yucky yellowish undertone. If you or your client is a platinum blonde, I suggest a quick wash and rinse. It will leave a purple tone if left longer than 5 minutes. I also love how soft and moisturized it leaves the hair. Compared to other anti-brass toning masks, I would recommend Redken Color Extend Blondage Mask.

It smells like a yummy cologne! But it works so well combatting brass without drying the hair out! Definitely would recommend!

Purple masks tend to grab onto my hair quick because it is porous but I didn't have that issue with this product. It left my hair looking freshly toned & bright! This product not only does the daily toning I need, it leaves my hair silky smooth and it smells soo good!!!

My hair can get yellow quick, and looked dull. I applied the mask mostly to my real hair and let it sit them applied it to my extensions. I didn't leave it on long maybe only 3 minutes and my hair was so much brighter, and blended again very nice with my extensions. Most blonde masks I've tried leave my hair super tangly afterwards, I had no issues with this mask. My hair felt super soft and shiny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purple conditioning mask I've tries I have very brassy and dry hair so after a regular shampoo I let this mask sit on a good five minutes. After rinsing, my hair felt so moisturized after and looked 100% brass free! My fear with regular purple shampoos is they are so alkaline therefore incredibly drying. But with this mask there are no risks of drying out your hair while it tones. I immediately saw results both in the brightness of my blonde and how soft and nourishes my hair was. It also smelled so amazing!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cool blonde for already cool hair I used this Redken Blondage Mask after shampooing and towel drying my hair, leaving it on for 5-10 minutes. It would work best on level 10 hair that is already on the cool side. I have level 9 hair that is a golden blonde. It did make my lightest pieces very cool and then made the rest of it a beige blonde. I do like that it changed the tone of my hair. I used it two washes in a row and didn't notice that it was much more potent the second time. The smell is not my favorite and you have to be careful that you don't get it on any light colored linens. I would buy this again just to have a change in the tone of my hair.

The toning strength in the product is unparalleled to any blonding shampoo I have tried. I was not familiar with the product but now that I am it will always be in my back bar. It moves great through the hair so you don't need to over use the product like a lot of other deep conditioners and end up wasting product or money. It has a deep tint/ purple to help tone to get rid of brass or brighten up your blonde and yet when rinseing it doesn't leave a purple shade behind like I have had issues with other purple based masks in the past. Overall this is a great product. The hair felt conditioned and soft.

I usually use a clarifying shampoo beforehand and then I'll towel dry my hair and apply this mask for 10 minutes. Then I condition and rinse. I feel like this toned my hair down a good amount without any trace of violet cast left on my hair. I also thought it helped detangle! I'll use this more in the winter when a purple shampoo is just too drying and my blonde hair needs some extra love!

Applied to damp hair and let sit for 5 minutes then rinsed. My blonde has no brass and also feels like like it has never been processed. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a mask that not only conditions the hair but removes unwanted brass.

Blonding is what i do most in the salon, and toning shampoos and conditioner are used daily and recommended to my clients to help keep their hair bright! This mask makes my client's hair feel soft and smooth, and deposits just the right amount of cool tones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mask for Icy Blonds It's been approximately 8 weeks since my hair was highlighted. I used the mask after I washed my hair with GrandeMD peptide shampoo. I kept it on for 10 min as per directions. The mask smells really good. The scent reminded me of Kelvin Kline One perfume. Kind of unisex. Once I rinsed the mask off the hair was noticeably softer and easy to comb through. It's hard to see it in the pictures but it did work to tone down the brassy hues. I also noticed that even though my hair is due for highlights using this mask blended the roots a little bit to extend my color a little longer. Overall I think it's a great product to keep blond color cool and it's seems to be nourishing to the hair. Win win.
