Rated 5 out of 5 by from A better option for in between coloring I've been using purple shampoo for years and I have tried many brands. I have my favorite, but I really enjoyed this Redken Blondage Color Mask. I love how the pigment in the mask is violet and blue cancelling out any orange tones my hair sometimes gets when my shadow root begins to fade. The mask is very dark and pigmented, which I love. If I'm using a mask I want to see results. The smell is quite strong and masculine, which I could see some people disliking. I definitely noticed my hair feeling more conditioned after using it which was a huge bonus. The first time I tried the mask I left it on for 5 minutes and noticed some results. The second time I left it on the full 10 minutes and was really happy with how my hair looked. It was noticeably less warm and I believe it appeared healthier and shinier. There are so many benefits from using the color extend mask that I wouldn't normally have with my purple shampoo, so I will definitely be using this to maintain my platinum blonde going forward.

The blonde always gets brassy/orange especially towards my ends so I have usually used purple shampoos and/or a toner in between services. This product worked great and is way better than just regular purple shampoo. I definitely recommend to anyone that has blonde color treated or bleached hair. It also smells good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great subtle toner This is more subtle than some of the other at home color toning products, especially when going up against a purple shampoo. That being said, I felt like I had more control of the tone than with your standard purple shampoo. It toned slowly and evenly which was nice when I had time to do it. You definitely can't use this if you trying to get in a quick shower before you have to be somewhere. You'll want to set aside the time to use it properly. I used this conditioner both as the directions stated and as a quick in shower conditioner. Using it in the shower was a nice way to refresh and brighten the tone between proper 10 minute treatments. All in all, a good product. It does what is says it's going to do.

I used this product on 4 of my regular clients, with the range of blondes starting at a level 8 neutral Beige (8NB in shades) to a 10 Platinum (blue violet undertones). All clients I used this product on were 1 to 2 weeks after color service. ( i selected specific blonde clients I wanted to try this product on to see the range of results I will get!) I asked My clients if they would come in and let me perform what I called (Blondage) or "A Blonde's Kept Secret". To keep their color look fresh and healthy between color services!! I have to say This product was Awesome! It did exactly what it say it would do, and the results were great even if the color of blondes wasn't originally a Platinum/ blue violet undertones. It made even Nutral Beige blondes a beautiful refresh color, but I wouldn't recommend leaving the product on for the full processing time, I wouldn't adjust accordingly to the canvas you are working on!!

I left it on damp hair for about ten minutes and rinsed.. and it turned my hair from a warmer blonde to the perfect icy shade and looks like I freshly toned it. Highly recommend. The blue violet tone gives it the perfect amount of iciness.

It lasted about 3 days for me, I wash my hair everyday unfortunately, but you don't need much of this mask to cover a decent amount. A little goes along way for sure! I left it on for 20 minutes and the color was beautiful. Great way to try out a color if you don't want something permanent!! Or you can use it as a refresher for your color! So either way it's a win-win!

Fades to a very orangey hue, even if it looks very pretty after the first few applications. Better for maintenance of VRo shades or pinks rather then a blonde looking for a temporary color change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color I was super excited to be able to try this Redken product! I tried this on someone with super light blonde highlights and I must say I was pretty impressed! The consistency of the mask is thick and rich and smells great. I followed the instructions on the tube exactly. I shampooed my clients hair like normal, towel dried it to get out excess moisture, gloved up, and applied the mask and combed it through. I left it on for the full 10 minutes and rinsed it really well. The color was so pretty and really brightened my clients highlights! It left her hair soft and silky and super conditioned. She was super happy as was I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Product! Very conditioning. Made my hair feel great. This deposits more color more quickly if you apply it to dry hair and let it sit for awhile before washing it out. I tried it like you would use a conditioner first and then used in dry hair to further play with it. It's a bit more pink than I expected but who can't use some pink in their life?! Will definitely buy this to wholesale to my clients because the color was great and it actually felt nourishing as well!
