Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Your Typical "Shower Beer" I tried out the Redken Brews Thickening Shampoo for Men; I immediately was amused by the beer bottle shape of the shampoo container. I guess it's because it's marketed to men. The smell is pleasant and somewhat similar to other tea tree shampoos I've used; not really a masculine or feminine smell, just a clean, grassy, minty smell. I felt like this shampoo did a thorough cleaning job, and left my scalp a little tingly (good tingly). I'm not really sure if it helped thicken or strengthen my hair because I didn't see a noticeable difference, but maybe needs to be used longer to see visible results. I liked this enough to keep using, but don't really hold out much hope for thickening my thinning hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells nice, don't really see results though This shampoo smells nice. Not to cheesy "manly" but not feminine either. It suds nice and rinses clean to leave hair squeaky and fresh. I didn't notice any difference in the obvious thinning of my hair, nor did it help give more volume. I don't know if I'd buy it again.
