Rated 5 out of 5 by from A nice alternative to other products I enjoyed using the product and found it to be great in styling, but it did not petrify my hair (like some other products)! It's got a pleasant "piney" scent and was easy to work in and use. I'm really happy to recommend it! I'm a guy with straight, thick, graying hair that likes to be weird at times. This product took care of things like a champ (and I could wet my hair the next day and still have it behave)!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like it I usually use gel form from a tube. This was the first product in a pomade style tin. At first I thought it was black since the inside of the tin is that color. It felt more solid and dry than I am use to so I put too much on my hair. It was very strong hold! After a couple of attempts I found the right amount t use for my hair. It is a strong hold without being concrete or too spiky or looking too wet. I also really like the smell. When my sample runs out, I will find a local retailer and switch from my existing product that I have used for 20 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice hold, lasts even in my unruly hair I have a combination head of hair, grey and wirey, and a couple of cowlicks. I like my hair to spike and lay a certain way, and sometimes it can be a challenge to keep it in place. This pomade has a wonderful scent, is easy to work with, and a hold that's pliable and lasts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Hold! This product was great for my short hair (about 1.5"). It held my fauxhawk well and didn't leave the shaved sides of my hair feeling gross. The scent could be way too strong for some people, especially smelling the can directly, but it does dissipate once it's applied and as the day goes on (still not leaving you scentless).

In general, I do not normally go after high shine products like this, but I was surprised and actually really liked the shine this product added to my hair. It does say "high hold" however I did not find that this product held my hair to the style as much as other products I have used in the past like creams and waxes.

I put it in my hair when it was dry and damp but still got the same result. It held my hair in place for a long period of time. I wasn't aware of the program before I enrolled but I'm glad I did because I got to try out a product that I will use for a long time.

It doesn't leave you with crunchy hair. I would have given it 5 stars if the pomade was unscented. The pomade has a musk like scent to it. I am not a fan of musk scent. Otherwise great hair gel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent I enjoyed trying this product in different ways. Its sticky so it's hard to get off your hands and into your hair but once that is done I enjoyed the product. It didn't dry too quickly so I was able to achieve the look I was going for. I also tried it on damp hair. This made it easier to get it transferred to my hair but gave me a different style. In both cases the product provided decent hold. The smell was a bit too strong for my taste.

They are either make my hair too greasy looking or don't hold the hair in place. I'm very glad I got to try Redken Brews High Hold Pomade because it not only holds my hair but doesn't make it look greasy either! I was not aware of this product before but after trying it, I will be purchasing it again in the future. I will definitely recommend this product to friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The scent is my favorite part! It's for the most part very similar to most pomades that I've tried over the past 20 years or so. A little easier to work than some of the classic pomades like Murrays. My favorite part is the scent. It smells mildly woodsy but not overpowering, and you really don't need to use much to get a really fantastic hold that lasts literally forever.

I thought the pomade would weigh down my hair but it actually adds some volume and shine. I would definitely buy this and recommend to anyone looking for high hold and shine!
