Rated 4 out of 5 by from Must use 30 volume This bleach is very nice, and works very evenly. I tried it with 20 and 30 volume, the 20 volume does not lift well. Maybe if I had given it an extra 15-20 minutes to process it would have? But it was already in my foils for 40 minutes. Using it with 30 volume worked much better this is why I gave it 4 stars, I don’t want to use 30 volume if I can help it. The hair felt fine afterwards, and it did manage to keep the good to a minimum.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok I liked the consistency and that it didn’t dry out but I didn’t feel like it was better than anything else that I’ll i have tried.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lifting I do like how well it lifted my clients hair. I wasn't Too much of a fan of the texture of the bleach to was more runny than I’m used to after mixing the ratio 1:3. However I didnt Have any issues with it swelling and coming out of foils. It did do its job of lifting and I was Happy with the lift results!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a loyal Redken Flash Lift 8 user,I was eager to try out the Blonde IQ 7. From my understanding, this formula is more controlled and I took that as meaning slower compared to Flash Lift. I did not notice a difference in speed. This formula lightened just as fast. I do like the creamy consistency. I felt it stayed moist throughout the whole process. I like this just as much as Flash Lift and think this works especially well when needing a formula that is controlled and doesn't dry out. I would purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, but not my favorite So, for the pros of this product, I like the creaminess of it and that it doesn’t swell. The cons are that the ratio 1:3 for highlights is WAY too runny. Not sure if people are actually using that recommendation or not, but there seems to be a bit too much developer. The lift was okay but still leaves much room for improvement. I’m a big Redken user and that’s almost exclusively what my salon uses, but I still feel like Redken hasn’t figured out their winning lightener formulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick lifting Quick lifting! Used on previously colored level 6 with no problem. Love the oil developer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid It’s very efficient and using a 30vol will process very quickly and evenly I will say. Wish I had used a 20vol as the hair did feel roughed up through the rinsing/removal but I don’t see why I wouldn’t use it again when looking for a quick lift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lifted Dark Hair without Visible Damage! In all of the products I have tried so far for lifting colors in hair, this is by far the most superior when it comes to time, leaving hair soft and healthy, and most of all, it definitely works! I have tried it on the darkest black hair and for the first session, it actually did lift well without drying or leaving my client's hair brittle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay It's okay, but I definitely don't love it. It's been a while since I've used a Redken lightener, but I'd say it's pretty close to the up to 7 that I remember. It's recommended to mix a 1:3 ratio for highlights - that seemed like way too much developer to me, so I mixed 1:2 and it still seemed too thin for my preference. It made it difficult to ensure proper saturation. It was pretty gentle on the hair and I eventually got a decent lift, but in a world of high quality and improving lighteners, this is not it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! I’ve used many different brands of lightener and this one is by far a new favorite. I was able to achieve the desired level for my clients with the integrity still there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I actually liked it more than I thought I would. It’s a soft lift not harsh at all and it didn’t dry out the hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed Thanks Redken for the free decolorizer and developer through buzz agent sampling ! I will say this is now one of my favorite lighteners. I have been going from brand to brand lately and haven’t found one that I’ve loved. I would say this is like if the OG blonde dimensions and up to 7 had a baby. It has more gentleness I would say than the original up to 7, but a bit more “oomf” than the original/ old school blonde dimensions had. The texture is fluffy/ creamy but easy to make thicker or thinner depending on your ratios. Packaging is nice and I loved that they kept the scoop separate, rather than having to dig it out from the bottom of a bag!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good lift but weird consistency I typically use Wella Blondor for lightening but was gifted this for my honest review. The first time I used it I followed the mixing ratio which is 1:3 and the bleach was very runny and I felt like it was not securing my highlights. The second time I used it I mixed 1:2 and it was still pretty runny but I did feel like my foils were staying in place. As with other Redken lighteners I also felt like it was gritty. I will say both times I used it the lift was great and nice and even. But due to the consistency I can’t see myself reaching for this over my Wella.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good lighteners I have hated all of Redken bleach over the years and I’ve tried them all! I have to say that this one mixes well , stays creamy and did lighten without drying out and without taking forever! I personally won’t switch all of my clients but I will use this one on some going forward!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lift This really does help to achieve a bright, clean blonde without the usual brassy mess. It stays creamy and easy to work with, which is a huge step up from those cheap lighteners that dry out and leave your hair patchy. This really oacks enough punch to handle darker hair in one go, saving a ton of time and damage. I’d recommend it to anyone, especially if you have naturally wavy hair! it gets the lift you want in one shot so you can actually keep your natural texture and bounce healthy which rules! Really great stuff

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s an improvement from Redken Flash Lift I was given this lighter to sample as part of leaving a review. While the lighter was good it's not as good as some of the other lighters that I love to use on the daily . I have a love hate relationship with Redken lighteners. I feel like they haven't gotten that right. The pros about this lighter is it's mixed 1 to 3 for foil applications, which makes it super creamy .But I will say it's way runnier than what I typically like to use for foils up to the scalp . I guess you could change the consistency but I'm following the directions of what the manufacturers directions said . The pro oxide they sent me was 30 volume , I hardly ever use 30 volume on anyone, typically the highest I'll go is 20. The client I used it on I mixed20 volume instead of the 30 that they sent . The lift was there but after having it on for 30 to 40 minutes It wasn't as clean of a lift as I can get with Schwarzkopf blonde me or Wella lightener . It’s marketed as only a 7 level lift. The good about it-It was creamy, did not swell, and did not dry out. It’s not recommended for use with heat. If your in a time crunch I’d use the new Blonde IQ 9 lightener and mix 1:1.5- or 1:2. 1:3 just slows the processing down. Hair was in great condition. Will I be switching from Blonde me or Wella lightener, no.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! As a professional stylist, I’ve used a wide range of lighteners and developers over the years, so I don’t say this lightly—Blonde IQ 7 paired with Pro Oxide Cream Developer 30 Volume really impressed me. The lightener lifted evenly and predictably without excessive swelling or patchiness, which is something I always watch closely when working on blonding services. I also noticed it stayed creamy and easy to work with throughout the processing time, making application smooth and controlled rather than messy or drying out too quickly. The 30 volume developer gave me consistent lift without feeling overly harsh on the hair, which helped maintain better integrity during the lightening process. My client’s hair still felt soft enough to tone immediately afterward, which made my finishing work much easier and more efficient. Overall, this combo gave me reliable lift, clean results, and good manageability behind the chair. I would absolutely use it again in my salon work and recommend it to other stylists looking for a dependable blonding system. This product was received free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
