Blonde IQ 5 High Lifts should only be used with Redken Pro-Oxide Cream Developers (20-40 Volume) to guarantee the precise results you expect.

What Else You Need to Know

Redken Blonde IQ High-Lifts delivers synchronized lift and tone in 1 step and delivers dimensional results for all hair types and textures. Its formulation is ideal for 1-step lift & tone service on virgin hair and root regrowth.

• Wear suitable disposable gloves.​

• Mix 2 oz. (60ml) of Blonde IQ™ calibrated anti-brass high-lifts with 4oz. (120ml) of Pro-Oxide™ Cream Developer.

• Use exclusively with the recommended developer, 20 – 40 volume (12%) maximum. Do not use with hydrogen peroxide greater than 40 volume (12%). Use only in the proportions indicated. Always use after mixing.

• Application and rinsing: Wear suitable disposable gloves. Do not use with metal tools (clips, combs, etc). Process at​ room temperature for 45 minutes. DO NOT USE HEAT. Rinse hair well after the processing time.

The Blonde IQ 5 Calibrated Anti-Brass High-Lift Hair Color gave really clean lift while helping control warmth during processing, which is huge for blondes. The consistency was easy to work with, spread evenly, and didn’t feel overly drying compared to other high-lift formulas I’ve tried. I especially liked how balanced the tone looked after processing — brighter, cooler, and less brassy without needing excessive toning afterward. The hair still felt soft and manageable, and the shine was beautiful. Definitely a great option for anyone wanting strong lift with more controlled neutralization. It lifts quickly and does a great job keeping unwanted brassiness away, which is exactly what I was hoping for. My hair felt healthy and soft after using it, not dry or overprocessed. The color came out bright, clean, and even. It’s a great option if you want a beautiful blonde result while still keeping your hair in good condition. Highly recommend!

The consistency is almost gel like so it was so much easier to apply than the very thick high lift I usually use. The fragrance is amazing and makes for a much more comfortable experience than the usual strong ammonia scent I'm used to.

It lifted well without leaving my hair overly brassy, and the tone came out much more balanced than other high-lift colors I’ve tried. My hair still felt fairly soft afterward, and the shade looked bright and natural. Definitely a good option if you’re trying to lighten while minimizing yellow/orange tones.

I decided to try on a natural level 4 just to see what results would be like. It is definitely a warmer result, but a nice lift. On a natural level 7 it would be a beautiful result. Definitely best for virgin hair.

The ash base helped tone a bit so less toning in the end, but I definitely would not Use on anyone darker than a level 7. Perfect for level 8/9/10 hair. Kept hair healthy and shiny.

It lifted virgin hair well BUT for the violet to actually tone and pay off you’d have to already start on a very light canvas or you’ll have to tone like any other lightener after lifting darker hair. The consistency was really nice, making it easy to foil. It also did not feel drying like other high lift colors. This would be a great go to for introducing color to virgin hair when doing highlights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks so good I used the Redken Blonde IQ High-Lifts Violet with the Pro Oxide 40 Volume developer along with shade 5, and I’m honestly really happy with the results! 💜✨ The color lifted beautifully while helping cancel out warm tones, and the shade 5 added really nice depth and dimension instead of leaving my hair flat-looking. My hair came out bright, even, and shiny with much less brassiness than I expected from a high-lift color. The formula was smooth, easy to apply, and processed evenly. Definitely a product line I would use again

The current high lifts in my line are very pungent smelling, and a good amount thicker. I really enjoyed how well the product spread and easily saturated the hair. What are some benefits of owning this product? - I think if you were to use this product on a level 6-8, you will have some nice results, but there might be the potential for some residual warmth that may need to be neutralized. I was gifted this with 40vol and I’m not sure if I would use that high of a level on an actual client (I tested the product on a level 5 mannequin head). Would you buy this product? - I would buy this for very specific clients that I know want a fast service and are comfortable with warmth. I’d also use this to base bump brunette and blonde clients. Would you recommend this product to your friends or family? - I’ve already referred the product to a coworker who was surprised and enjoyed the results.

It worked perfectly for what I needed, Without it being too brassy or too drying. I would definitely recommend this. In my opinion, even if you're using an ash tone you still will end up with some warmth especially if your client is darker than a natural level 7 or 8. So I feel like the ash toner helped maintain closer to a neutral result but I would not say it was a true ash in the end. The consistency was very nice and I would definitely use this again in a situation where I was going to use a high lift blonde versus dimensional color or something of that sort.

I was excited to try Redken Blonde IQ High-Lifts Violet because I loved Redken’s previous line of high lift colors. I believe that this is just a simple re packaging but I could be mistaken. Either way, it performed great! I used this formula on a natural level 7 with double 40 volume and was very happy with the results. It lifted beautifully to a clean, medium blonde while helping control unwanted warmth during the lifting process. The violet tone did a nice job keeping the result balanced and bright without looking overly warm or brassy. The consistency was great and stayed put in a foil which is always a relief! The hair felt great after shampooing too! Based on this experience, yes—I would purchase this product for salon use, and I would absolutely recommend it to other professional stylists looking for a reliable high-lift option. Overall, Redken Blonde IQ High-Lifts Violet delivered clean, predictable, professional results and definitely left a positive impression.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good lift, nice tone in one I used the Anti-brass high lift color -Natural on 2 clients for natural overall highlighting. First client was a level 8 with 40% grey. I felt there was a slight brass finish on some of the darker hair, but it camouflaged and hued the white/grey hair. Second was a level 5/6 with no grey. I did fine, foil highlights. The results were a soft, natural color. Very pleased. The overall consistency of the product is very creamy and applies well to the hair. I would use this color again, possibly trying one of the cooler shades.

I like to lift with this then tone over it with desired tone Will get you to a lighter color if your already naturally light and to about caramel color if your naturally darker… not for every client but great when you need it
