What It Is

Blondage High Bright Shampoo is the answer to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This shampoo is step #2 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blonde light and brightens up hair instantly.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Shampoo washes away buildup and impurities and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neturalize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

This is a system as whole, so in order for it to work it must be treated as such. I didn't notice significant results right away but after my second treatment I'd say I can definitely see good results as this product does exactly what it claims

I didn’t notice a drastic difference after two washes with this shampoo, but I did notice it looked like all of my hair was lighter which wasn’t the goal as I have highlights and want those to stay dark. I want a shampoo that eliminates brass from all the tones on my head. This is not a winner for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brighter Blonde days ahead! I waited about 3 weeks after my salon appt to give this Redken Blondage Pre shampoo treatment / Shampoo & conditioner a try. First application, applied pre treatment to damp hair. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. Then apply Redken High Bright Blondage shampoo directly over pre treatment. Allow to sit 5 minutes while you lather, rinse and follow up with Redken High Bright Blondage conditioner. Whoa.... I wasn’t expecting this to actually work, but my hair is brighter, softer, shinier! I used the three piece set multiple times to get a better idea of what products are doing what and how well. Overall, the set together made my hair feeling salon professional. It really helped eliminate frizz or loose ends. In the end it made my hair extremely soft and flexible as well. In regards to brightening my hair, I did use this product multiple times to see a difference in outcome of my hair. I did not see a difference. I was expecting something in line with the purple shampoos I use, but it did fall short here. The shampoo doesn’t have purple and didn’t change my hair tone or make it lighter that I could notice. However, all in all - it made my hair feel and look great - just not brighter.

I was expecting the shampoo to have a purple tint (like toner) but it was completely white/ clear. It smelled really good (like most redken products) I started with the pre-treatment, sprayed onto my hands and distributed it throughout my hair1 root to tip. I have bayalage, so my roots are natural and mid length to end is bleached. I followed with the shampoo, rinsed, conditioned… and WOW! My roots are definitely lighter!! The bleached part of my hair is super light, so that part didn’t get lighter, but it definitely helped tone it! I loveeee this stuff!! One use and I saw results!
