What It Is

Blondage High Bright Shampoo is the answer to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This shampoo is step #2 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blonde light and brightens up hair instantly.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Shampoo washes away buildup and impurities and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neturalize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

Honestly I was using other brand before so I am happy for the replacement. If you find something better don’t overthink it just because it was cheaper for a couple of dollars.

I was expecting this to have some purple color in it for toning so I was surprised that it was clear. I wouldn’t purchase this over a purple shampoo for keeping my blonde bright.

While I don’t think these products brighten or remove brassiness in my hair like a purple shampoo would, I did feel that my hair was brighter over time! It’s not as much of an immediate effect as a purple based product in my opinion. But my hair was brighter and SO soft! I would definitely buy these products again.

It lathers easily, cleans my hair without over drying it, and leaves it looking great. I love everything about this shampoo except I wish Redken would have made this a purple shampoo so that it would really tone blonde hair. I want mine so blonde it's white, but if you just want to take away the impurities and gain some life back to naturally blonde hair, then this shampoo is for you.

Without being bias, I will admit that I love having a new favorite hair product. I’ve been using ‘blonde’ or sometimes what’s referred to as ‘purple’ shampoos for quite some time and am someone that is particular about change. After using a well known competitor for years, trying this complimentary Redken product has taken me to a brighter side. Redken Blondage Shampoo makes my hair seem like it definitely lasts longer between washes in that it looks cleaner in general and feels so smooth after each wash. I plan to stick with my new hair routine and definitely think if you’re in the market for a blonde shampoo you don’t need to look anymore!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan i usually like Redken haircare but, to be honest, I did not like this shampoo. First of all, it contains SLS which is a no no for my sensitive scalp. I tried washing my entire hair once and ended up with itchy scalp, so I switched to using it just for the length. Then, this shampoo doesn't seem to have enough nourishing ingredients. It dries and tangles my hair. It smells nice and gives a good lather. i did not notice that my hair got brighter, so it doesn't really do for me what it claims. It purifies well, but there are better Redken shampoos which I enjoyed more than this one.

The shampoo does not have any fragrance. I’m not sure if I have noticed any different in my hair color, but I also may need to use it for a longer period of time.
