What It Is

Blondage High Bright Shampoo is the answer to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This shampoo is step #2 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blonde light and brightens up hair instantly.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Shampoo washes away buildup and impurities and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. Its Vitamin C composition is known for its brightening benefits in skincare. This system is formulated with chelators for instant results and lightweight finish for a non-drying look & feel.

What Else You Need to Know

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neturalize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from smells so good - cleans hair well This product smells so good! Almost like a hot guy smell LOL. I paired it with the pre-treatment spray and as I mentioned on that review - It’s not something you could do if you were in a hurry. That being said, it did brighten up my hair a little bit, as promised. I will probably use it a again on my next hair wash say to get it a little brighter! The shampoo itself did clean my hair well and it feels nice and soft after air drying it.

This particular shampoo and conditioner was your typical Redken product. They smell nice and makes your hair feel amazing afterwards. I did see an increase in shine but I did not see as much difference in my actual blonde tones. I was hoping for a super lite / grayish tint. However, I did have added shine in my hair and it was a lot less tangled! I didn’t see much difference when using the pre spray.

Has an AMAZING scent which is a big thing for me. The scent also lasts longer than most shampoos I’ve tried. It doesn’t wash my hair that well.. but most purple shampoos don’t. If you want this solely to keep your blonde more bright then you will absolutely love this. If your hair is dirty then you’ll want to use another shampoo along with this one. I do recommend it

The vitamin C clarifies and the citric acid, argenine and glycerin balances, repairs and protects. This shampoo smells amazing too, jas a great lather and my hair is much brighter.

Typically this shampoos for blonde hair are purple and can be a bit of a problem when trying to wash out your shower. I am very happy it is clear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For Brightening— NOT TONING! This shampoo is awesome! I hadn't used Redken shampoos in a long time because I felt they were either too heavy, or not hydrating enough. This one checks all the boxes! However, it's not a toning shampoo— it's clear. Don't expect it to be purple, just because the bottle is. I have extremely hard water with tons of minerals in it, and as a platinum blonde, it's my worst nightmare! This seems like it clarifies, without feeling dry/stripped of all oils afterwards. Leaves the hair soft and manageable, while brightening my platinum locks back up between services.

The shampoo cleansed away heavy styling products, and left hair feeling soft. I definitely notice blonde highlights looked lighter and toned. I also like the scent and consistency of the shampoo. The only complaint is it seemed to make hair oily quicker and needed to wash more often than usual.
