What It Is

Blondage High Bright Conditioner is the answer to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This conditioner is step #3 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blonde light and brightens up hair instantly.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Conditioner provides a lightweight finish to the system for a non-drying feel of hair and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. Using the entire High Bright system wil provide a brighter blonde instantly.

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neutralize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

I don’t know if it actually lightened my hair to the color I wanted, because I still had some apparent brassy notes. Overall good product, just not sure it matched well with my hair color and desired results.

I always get nervous with the white tile of my bathroom to use the purple blonde products out there. This is clear and doesn’t stain whatsoever but has the same benefits as the purple so it’s a great balance for me.

When using the three step system my hair felt amazingly soft and it most definitely makes the blonde appear ‘brighter’ - and glossy! The conditioner is easy to apply. I can definitely recommend this product if you plan on following the three step system! The only downside for me was the smell.

My blonde highlights started to get a little brassy so I decided to use my Blondage High Bright samples I received. I put it in for 5 minutes which wasn’t long at all and it took out the brassy color and lightened my highlights. This product worked well. It’s fast and easy to use and smells good.

I didn’t see any noticeable difference, and the step one spray is just inconvenient. I will use it until it’s gone because it didn’t hurt my hair but I couldn’t recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to remove brassy tones. PS, don’t mind my messy bathroom and hair lol. I didn’t style it at all besides blow drying it so yeah.

I really haven’t found them to be effective at all, especially compared to the purple line that Redken has, which I really prefer. The conditioner smells nice and works as well as a typical conditioner. Nothing very good or very bad.

I let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes while I finished up with the rest of my shower. As with the pre-treatment and the shampoo, the conditioner has a lovely fragrance. I felt it provided a good amount of slip and coverage in the shower, but after my hair was dry, I found my hair feeling a little more parched than I do with my regular daily conditioner. So for my coarse hair, I felt the conditioner could have been a tad bit richer to add a little more long term moisture throughout the day. Or perhaps Redken can offer an additional version of the conditioner for coarser hair.
