What It Is

Blondage High Bright Conditioner is the answer to blondes who lose lightness and brightness in the weeks between salon visits. This conditioner is step #3 of a full brightening regimen powered by Vitamin C and Redken's Brightening Care Complex, which keeps blonde light and brightens up hair instantly.

What It Does

Blondage High Bright Conditioner provides a lightweight finish to the system for a non-drying feel of hair and brightens hair that has dulled, darkened, or mattified due to dulling agents and pollution. Using the entire High Bright system wil provide a brighter blonde instantly.

Using the entire High Bright system will provide a brighter blonde instantly. What is the difference between Redken's Blondage Core and Blondage High Bright? The Blondage Core is formulated with violet-pigmented toning technology for high level blondes looking to take out brass and neutralize orange or yellow tones. Blondage High Bright is formulated by Vitamin C + Brightening Care Complex, which lifts brightness of blondes or highlights. It also removes impurities that darken, dull and mattify blonde hair for brighter results.

It’s cool because sometimes you want your blonde brightened up but without that tell tale ashy look that you get from purple shampoo. It does a nice job cleaning and I don’t get greasy right away like with some shampoos, but not overly drying as long as you don’t use it every time you wash. Washed hair with the whole line in this pic! Only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because I feel like it’s nice but not a necessity, especially considering the price.

My hair is still bright from the salon, and also the shampoo/conditioner combo does not weigh my thinned postpartum hair out like so many other hair products.

This conditioner has a pleasant smell and creamy consistency) it helps me detangle my hair pretty well, but it has to stay on the hair a bit longer, so it would be a good idea to add this information to the instructions since they recommended to rinse right away and I found it's less effective if I do that) but after a couple of minutes it makes your hair nice and soft)

I will say that I really loved the smell of this conditioner however it did not lighten my hair at all and it left my roots extra oily while the shampoo left my ends very dry. I will not repurchase and I probably would not recommend.

While I don’t think these products brighten or remove brassiness in my hair like a purple shampoo would, I did feel that my hair was brighter over time! It’s not as much of an immediate effect as a purple based product in my opinion. But my hair was brighter and SO soft! I would definitely buy these products again.

I would absolutely buy this and would recommend to anyone with treated blonde hair who needs a little extra TLC in between salon visits!

It pairs great with the shampoo in this line. It makes my hair super soft and easy to manage. I love how clean my hair feels after using this hair care system. Only complaint is the same one I've had with all these products in this system, is that I wish they were a purple shampoo & conditioner. Other than that, a great product!

I'd expect a final step of brightening system to seal hair cuticles and make my hair soft and smooth again. Unfortunately,  that's not the case, and I had to use another hair product to be able to comb through my hair after washing. I also don't understand why this conditioner also contains ascorbic acid - as if pretreatment and shampoo were not enough. I will be using it separately from the other two products in conjunction with a nourishing SLS free shampoo

The conditioner does not have any fragrance. I’m not sure if I have noticed any different in my hair color, but I also may need to use it for a longer period of time.
