Rated 3 out of 5 by from Protects from heat. That's about it. I really wanted to love this product but Unfortunately, this product was underwhelming. I blowdried my hair with a round brush, focusing on giving lift in the crown area. Immediately after blowdrying, my hair looked great as it typically does when I blowdry it for volume. But as soon as I stepped outside, it fell flat. If you're looking for a regular, run of the mill blowout cream that protects from heat, this would be fine. And if it later becomes rebranded as such, that would be wonderful. But to promise body and volume, it most certainly does not deliver.

My hair is fine, I was afraid it would leave my hair stiff or look like I had too much product in my hair, but it actually gave my hair a lot of volume and protected my hair for heat damage while drying it. I LOVE that it has a flip cap top, which made it so much easier to use. After using the blowout get, on the second day, all I had to do is touch up with a flat iron. Would highly recommend this product and I will be adding this to my daily or every other day routine.

My hair still looks healthy but doesn't leave it greasy, thanks to this one. I also like the scent its not too strong and smells like minty. I have tried other products before and I feel like they don't really protect my hair because they become dry and damaged afterwards. I totally recommend this one! I'll be buying some more next time for my sisters to try!

It really gave me lift when blow drying but also helped smooth out the frizz while building body. But it didnt leave any buildup or heavy feeling on my hair. Will definitely be using in my salon & on my clients!

I was unsure at first since the product is really stuck and jellyish when you squeeze it out, but as soon as it hits your wet hair it dissolves and isn't sticky or anything. I also really liked the scent. It literally makes my hair super soft and it definitely does protect it from heat. I 10/10 recommend this

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big results I really enjoyed using and reaping the rewards of this Redken BIG Blowout heat protecting blowout jelly over the past two weeks. My hair has become drier over the winter and noticed it's breaking easily so when I blow dry or flat iron my hair, it needs extra protection. I've struggled keeping my hair straightened without frizzing out while remaining healthy looking. This heat protection jelly is very light and a small applies easily, the texture almost feels like a light conditioning gel and works into my hair easily. You can tell it's already getting to work once a small amount is applied prior to blow drying my hair. After drying I may or may not flat iron my hair depending on how much pain I'm experiencing in my hands or arms. This really isn't necessary because this jelly helps keep my hair straight simply by blow drying. This has a gentle scent and does not overwhelm. My hair remains soft and hydrated looking with no frizz which is so helpful living in the very humid climate of Georgia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the product, not the smell. Overall it was a great product. I wasn't expecting the literal jelly like texture when it came out of the tube. I have something similar and it's no where near what this is. I used the product by itself first to see what it can do. I didn't love the texture at first with just a blowout. But I did love it the second time after I curled my hair and with the Amika Sexture shampoo. I thought it held my curls much better than just the shampoo alone like I usually use. I also really liked the volume it gave my hair. Now for the smell. This was a major turn off for me because compared to their other products I've used, this had the worst smell. For some it might not be terrible, but that spicy pine smell just isn't for me. The second time using it, it wasn't bad, but I still don't love the initial smell.

It's easy to apply just a little in your hair after a shower so your able to blow-dry your hair an protect it. I blow-dry an straighten my hair a lot so finding a product that will protect my hair from split ends or getting heat damage is a must. This stuff keeps my hair shiny, soft, an no worries of breakage when using my favorite tools on my hair! I love how my hair looks an feels when using this product in my hair as well! My new favorite product I use everyday now on my hair to protect it an keep my hair soft & healthy.

Redken Big Blowout gives the same Beautiful, bouncy, shiny finish that I knew and loved from the previous product, plus the added benefit of heat protection up to 450°. I love that the heat protection is now built into the product so that people who don't want to use multiple products can still protect their hair without needed multiple stylers. If you want something to give you a movie star blowout, this is the product.

With it being a heat protectant and volume booster, that's a great way to protect hair from heat styling. There was ample volume on my clients hair with over directing sections as they were dried. She even asked me to make it have less volume in the end. It was to full looking for her.

I didn't use a lot but it did leave my hair feeling coated which is something I didn't like about the product. I did like the heat protection.

The Big Blowout gel did a great job of keeping my flat iron from frying my hair. It was light and did not weigh my hair down. The condition of my hair has improved considerably since I started using this product. Highly recommended!
