Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Blowout?? Absolutely!! As a stylist in a small town, I get the weekly ladies that love a good blowout style. The Redken Big Blowout did not disappoint! It has a jelly texture that makes you think its too loose to really help, but I was pleasantly surprised after breaking down in your hands how you could feel the hold. It don't get too much of a grip that blow drying is a hassle. It combs through real nice and gives wonderful volume. Which you know the ladies LOVE!

I find that lotions can be a bit heavy on the hair and leave it feeling greasy. This gel-like product was able to be evenly distributed throughout the hair and definitely plumped up the hair, making it feel thicker. I don't necessarily think it gave the hair a ton of volume, but I do feel like it thickens up each hair strand, which is especially good for fine hair. Overall, good product but needs to be paired with another product for volume and hold.

I used it in conjunction with the quick blowout as well and that helped cut time. Alone I felt like I had to blow dry normal time. It does help give it some volume/body for that blowout look if you use the right tools!
