Rated 3 out of 5 by from Redken beach spray The Redken beach spray gives your hair that ocean beach wave look. I used a few times on someone with medium length, and thick hair. After shampoo and conditioning the hair we applied the Redken beach spray on towel dried hair,then let it air dry. It gave the hair a nice wave, the only thing I was not a fan of is it gave the hair a little bit of a crunchy texture. If you don't mind the feeling of having some product in your hair then you will it.

This is very buildable depending on your end result, it gives the hair just enough texture to provide volume and beachy waves without crunchy, hair pulling distress that usually comes with texture products as a whole! Redken nailed it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Redken Beach Spray Redken has come out with another fun product. The smell is nice and fresh and reminds me of a beachy scent. You are to apply the spray to damp hair. After doing so, I wanted to brush it through to even out distribution. I found it hard to comb through with a Wet Brush and a detangler. So, if you use it spray & leave it. This is why it has 4 stars vs 5 for the very sticky effect it had on the hair tested. The hair held up fairly well most of the day indoors with some frizz & separation appearing mid day. Washing with a clarifying shampoo would be best for removing the sticky residue,or shampooing 2 times before conditioning.

It definitely has the crunchier look and feel and a good hold to go along with it. It is pretty lightweight but I still feel like this is a miss for finer textured hair. That in conjunction with the stickiness is the reason for my 3 star rating. I do think this would be good for medium to coarse textures looking for the crunchy look. It sprays well and distributes easily. Overall, it is a good product and nice to have among your choices, it just wasn't my favorite.

You have to spray and let it sit in your hair for an hour or so and then it will look like you have beach waves. The best result, I noticed was after sleeping on my hair with the spray in it. Definitely best product I've used for beach waves.

With fine hair I'm alway hesitant to use sprays like this but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The matte finish is pretty with the beach wave look. The added volume was a bonus! I will recommend this to others and continue to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for quick, summer style! Right off the bat this product just smells amazing. First, make sure your hair is towel dried and spray generously. I tousled my fingers through while spraying, then combed it through, then tousled it again. I do not have a diffuser so I opted to air dry, but I did twist it up in clips while it dried. I should've used a volumizing shampoo , but used a moisturizing, it still worked and I loved the look, just needed a little more volume - which was my own wrong doing !
