In my professional opinion, I believe this product contains sodium hydroxide in which requires a normalizing or neutralizing shampoo for restoring bonds. I also had to return the matching shampoo for this same reason... BEWARE!!

I love this for my dry color treated and bleached clients as the moisture stays in even after styling! This conditioner is on the heavier side but when used properly it keeps the hair smooth and soft for days! Highly reccomend for those that need instant moisture!

For reference I have oily scalp, medium to course hair texture and damaged long hair. This conditioner hydrates my mids and ends perfectly (I do not apply to my scalp). I can use a nice size amount of this conditioner and my hair drinks it up, after rinsing my hair is extremely smooth! Because I have an oily scalp it is difficult to find a hydrating conditioner that doesn't leave my hair weighed down and flat. The Redken all soft conditioner leaves my hair with volume, bounce and ultra hydrated. This conditioner will be a staple in my shower going forward!
