What It Is

Redken's Salon Exclusive Concentrated Moisture Treatment is for clients with damaged or over processed hair. Redken's Acidic Moisture Concentrate is customizable with Redken's Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate to provide solutions for their specific hair needs.

 

Depending on your client's need for protein for damaged hair or moisture for dry hair, customize their treatment using a mixture of Redken's Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate and Acidic Moisture Concentrate.

What It Does

• This formula contains 10% Glycerin to help replenish moisture and provide nourishment.

• Ingredients also help seal cuticle, improve conditioning, seal cuticle and prevent frizz.    

What Else You Need to Know

Visibly reverse surface damage in a single treatment!

DIRECTIONS: Assess your client's need for protein and/ or moisture in hair. Acidic Moisture = for dry hair needing moisture. Acidic Protein = for damaged hair needing strength.

 

• After shampooing, determine if you are using Acidic Moisture as a stand alone or if you will be mixing with Acidic Protein.

 

• If as a stand alone, apply up to 15ml (1 dose = 5ml) of Acidic Moisture Concentrate to towel dried hair.

 

• If needed, mix together with Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate (total mixture should not exceed 15ml) and apply.

 

• Leave on 5 minutes. Do not rinse. Follow with Acidic pH Sealer.

 

• In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately.

Only one problem hard to read its very very tiny letters. First time I used I could tell the different from my hair before and after. Giving the intense of hydration with smooth silky result and smell fresh and clean! Will continue to used it thank you!

I got so many compliments on my hair it definitely boosted my self esteem. It was kinda hard to get the steps down at first but once I started using it it became easier. It's definitely my go to for now on.

I was a huge fan of the former Chemistry line that this seems to have replaced. I have used this on my own bleached, damaged, dry hair as well as on clients with every hair type and condition. It feels super slippery (in a good way) when I apply it and spreads easily. I use the Amino Protein Concentrate before and the Sealer right after . Everything in this line is Amazing! It gives my curl pattern life! Its diminishes frizz and adds shine and moisture without weighing down my hair. I'm absolutely in love with this line! I do have shoulder length hair and I find that using the recommended amount is too much. A little goes a long way for me. Also the scent of these is AMAZING! Cannot recommend these enough.

It has a nice light scent to it- I used this in combination with the protein concentrate and moisture concentrate. Just spray this on afterwards and rinse after to help seal in moisture. This helped keep my clients hair moisturized and looking great! I also used it on my mildly frizzy long hair before I went to the beach and it worked great. My hair is normally dry and frizzy after a day at the beach, but after using this, my hair was still nice and soft without the dryness or frizziness from the beach air.

I have bleached out color treated very damaged hair and I've tried every product under the sun to improve the health of my hair. It's not just a hair mask I can tell a noticeable difference in the health and texture of my hair. It's easier to comb through and there's way less breakage. I even received compliments and was asked if I just got my hair done- which I didn't! I love it and am excited to see continued results!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Hydrating for my dry damaged hair I really loved this moisture concentrate in combination with the protein amino concentrate and pH Sealer. This 3 part system worked extremely well on my dry damaged ends and provided need moisture and strengthening to my entire head of hair. I'm very pleased with the results after just one use. I used 5mL of the both the moisture concentrates and sealed with the pH spray sealer. Next time, I plan to try 10mL of the moisture concentrate with the 5ml of amino protein concentrate to compare the results. Very happy to get the chance to try these products out!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality but confusing My only complaint is that the directions are confusing. The three product process is also time consuming. With 5 minutes for each product. It takes 15 minutes to complete the process then to be followed with conditioner. It's also strange because you're supposed to towel dry hair after shampooing then use two products then rinse and then use conditioner. It makes for a long process. I liked how it made my hair feel. Soft, strong, and helped make it easier to detangle. I just found the directions really confusing. It also says to use 5 ml of product but doesn't have a measuring device for that so not sure how much I was supposed to use. Good product, terrible directions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basically a pretty fancy hair mask system So first off, I'm not a salon professional, and needed to do some additional internet sleuthing to figure out how to properly use this and get the most benefits from it. I mixed the Redken Acidic Moisture Concentrate with the Protein Amino Concentrate and let it sit on towel-dried hair for ten minutes and rinsed it out. It did make my hair feel nice, and I would keep using the system as it was not difficult to do so but I am not sure I'd seek this out again for regular use. It's definitely more of a salon item in my opinion.

After using this product as part of a 3 part system though my hair looked and felt a lot healthier even my bf and Mom noticed how nice it looked and it felt very soft had a good bit of shine but not in a oily way. I'm excited to see if the effects last or how long to go between treatments as the directions did not really make it clear how often this should be applied . If you have damaged hair from the sun or environment or even chemicals such as relaxers dyes or bleaching give this a try yes it is pricey but it does seem to repair hair or give the appearance after using of healthy luxurious hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Salon quality results after 1 use! This Redken Acidic Moisture Concentrate is used as a system together with Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate and Acidic pH Sealer. The concentrate adds moisture back into the hair shafts, especially useful for processed, color-treated hair. I tried it together with Acidic pH Sealer and, sometimes, together with Acidic Protein Amino Concentrate. The difference is mind-blowing! It's for professional use but the treatment is well worth it. My lifeless, thin hair became shiny and bouncy immediately after use. The treatment has a cumulative effect. I noticed my hair has become better with each use. I use it once every 1-2 weeks. It's a high quality product that delivers salon level results. I would suggest getting all three products for maximum results, as well as the shampoo and conditioner from the same line.
