It’s not too heavy but provides lasting shine especially since my hair is dry from being over processed. I also love the smell of the product, it’s light but fresh. Very happy to have received this as a gift to try. I will def keep this stocked.

It really is lightweight and doesn’t get greasy looking with multiple pumps. Love that it’s a heat protector too! The fragrance is also nice and not over powering at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly lightweight hair oil I was excited to try the Redken Naked Gloss Lightweight Shine Oil that I received as a free sample in exchange for my honest review. My first impression of this oil was that the consistency was much thinner than any other hair oil I have tried. It truly is lightweight as the name says. Feels more like a hair serum than an oil and I mean that in a positive way. The second thing I noticed was the scent. It smells soooo good. Kind of reminds me of a Moroccan oil with a rich deep luxurious scent. Now on to how it works. I applied this both on damp hair and dry hair. My favorite was on damp hair. It makes the hair so smooth when blow drying and gives it a healthy shine without looking greasy or oily. When I applied it to the mid shaft and ends of hair it did tend to lean a little more greasy looking, so I caution to use a very small amount if you apply to dry hair. Hair was noticeably shinier which gave it a healthy appearance. The smell was pleasant and lingered on the hair without being overpowering. Overall, I absolutely love this shine oil and highly recommend.

Use only one pump (on the smaller side), even if you think you’ll need more. The product doesn’t come off the hands easily, especially if you use too much, but washing with soap and water removes it.
