Rated 3 out of 5 by from Redken acidic gloss I personally don't feel like it changes the shine of the hair. It does make the hair softer but to say it adds shine isn't exactly the case for the ladies I used it on. I feel like most "shine" products like this don't deliver.

It felt great while it was wet but once I dried it, I didn't notice any extra shine or softness to my hair than it already had before the treatment.

After letting this gloss treatment sit in her hair, I was able to untangle it like a dream. It was great. Not only that but the blowout was smoother, and her hair was SO shiny and looked SO healthy. This is a good inbetween appointments product imo. Smells good too!

Like a fresh haircut! Then I started using it on my clients, mostly the ones that come in for a root touch. I apply the gloss at the bowl to the ends, and again it feels amazing! All of my clients have been amazed by the silkiness this product creates! I really love it! And will be using it from now on!

I didn't notice any really difference after the application of this product. I noticed the hair actually felt more coarse after the application .

Her hair has a small amount of damage and has issues with her color fading or looking dull due to being in the sun a lot. Redken's Acidic Color Gloss Activated Glass Gloss Treatment is a great product I could sell to my clients that need help to restoring their color and shine in-between visits to the salon.

First impressions - it smelled pretty in the bottle but when it hit the hair it was pretty strong. I also didnt like the fact that it had no detangling whatsoever so I think that could definately be improved… after blow drying there was no noticeable shine or sheen to the hair so just curious if I did something wrong? It did sit on the hair for 5 minutes.

It's very similar to doing a Shades EQ Gloss treatment, but with one less step, much more simplicity, and it makes your hair smell AMAZING. Before blow drying my hair, I noticed that it seemed to have some good strength to it, which I did not expect. Once dry, my hair definitely had some shine to it, but it was also very smooth. I definitely would recommend this product.

I did have to use quite a bit on her hair so I was concerned with cost and how long the product would last with the amount I had to use. Overall it did make the the appearance of my clients hair look overall shiny and smooth.

I did notice that hair with a toner on it, might have lifted a bit, but nothing big. If anything made hair brighter and so soft. Don't hesitate this gloss is the real deal.

But I'm thinking after a week or so if I use it again on my client maybe I'll get a better out come? Cuz the toners always leave the hair soft shiney!

I first dyed my roots and when it was ready to be washed, I shampooed it with my Redken shampoo Then applied the gloss treatment and left it on for 10 minutes and rinsed. After rinsing the treatment I blow dried my hair and Styled it as usual. The shine was incredible and it felt super healthy and so soft. I'm so glad that I received this and was able to try it and review because I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants shiny and beautiful hair.

The smell of the product is pleasant, it was easy to apply, easy to rinse, and an overall simple but effective product;. I will def be using this!
